I really enjoyed my half day tour to the beautiful nature of Adjara mountains. We visited three waterfalls, the ruins of Kveda fortress and had a tasty meal in Machakhela Gorge, with traditional Georgian music and dancing. My tour guide, Karen, is just the loveliest person! Very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and willing to accommodate my preferences. Highly recommend this tour!
Very calm, not rushed. Our tour guide picked us up from outside our hotel. Explained everything to us in detail. Knew many different facts. Was very patient with me and my partner. We traveled to many different locations. Seen approximately 5 different water falls. The best bit was last. On top of a mountain with an outstanding view. We had a meal from a small traditional family that made us feel very welcome.
Nature is at its best, 3 waterfalls on the way and village shops selling local artefacts and display of culture is very interesting. Lunch with wine and Cha cha served by local family was sumptuous and delicious. One man cultural dance by the family and local music was entertaining.
The views were amazing!, this was a great opportunity to learn about local life style, traditions and specially food, which was delicious. We stayed at a family home who shared some of the traditional and local dances, which we joyfully enjoyed . Our tour guide Salem was very nice, friendly and a skilled driver. We had an excellent experience and we considered this tour a fast way to learn about local culture.
I really enjoyed this tour! The drive through the mountains of Adjara was beautiful, and the waterfalls Makhuntseti, Mirveti, and Kveda Makhuntseti were magical. I also loved the visit to the local family as it felt so genuine. The food was delicious, the traditional dances were fun to watch. Everything was well organized and calm. I had a lovely time and I’m really glad I went. Highly Recommend!
A day filled with panoramic views, stunning waterfalls and a true taste of Georgian culture. The hospitality of the Georgian family was the highlight of the tour, and of course the dancing and the food. My guide, Karen, was very knowledgeable about not only the Adjara region, but Georgia in general.
