Our tour guide, Bill, was a character! He kept us entertained the whole trip with stories, history, songs (including a sing along), and jokes. The drive was very scenic, and we learned a lot about Mt. Rushmore. He was also kind enough to take pictures of our group. Breakfast and dinner at Fort Hayes were great (clean, friendly staff) and the band after dinner was really good. Our family really enjoyed this experience and would recommend it to others.

We had a wonderful experience with Dan as our guide. He was knowledgeable, personable, kind, entertaining, an excellent driver-especially through those tunnels, and he was an entertaining/talented performer in the show that evening. The food was adequate and filling. It would have been nice to have known the expense of the buffet before lunch.

Get off the fence and book it!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was on the fence. After reading reviews I booked it. And I'm glad I did!!! It was an all day event with breakfast and dinner included. I definitely got what I paid for and more! Definitely a better experience and value than my Yellowstone tour. Where to begin. The tour guide, Bill Martin!!! Fabulous, informative, knowledgeable, entertaining, and his sense of humor made this experience the best ever! Our group wasn't maxed out, so it was nice. The food that was served was delicious! I'm not much of a pancake person, but it had a good flavor and the BACON!!! YUMMMM!!! There was a gentleman playing the piano and was very entertaining, a nice way to eat breakfast. The dinner, OMG!!! So much food and just as yummy as breakfast!!! And how you received it, lol, was fun. Then the after dinner concert! Great band and loved every song!!! The skits were funny. I loved the site where you start and end. Has some movie history and the buildings were fun to walk through and look at how they were set up. There was an amusement park-like ride that looked fun but I did not partake. However, the ones that did looked like they had a good time. I took soooo many pictures!!! Glad I took an extra battery and a flash drive, lol! Will definitely recommend this tour to friends.

Dans MT Rushmore Bus Tour

This was a great tour. We made the right decision for sure . Our tour bus drivers name was Dan and he was knowledgeable and had no problems navigating the bus through the tunnels and Custer Park The dinner afterwards was fun and very entertaining . Alot of the music is from the "70s" which was perfect ! We cant stop talking about it . Definitely recommend this bus tour , to Mount Rushmore , and Custer Park. Also the breakfast and supper was included . The biscuits were probably the best I've ever had and Supper was really good too. No complaints at all! Thanks for a great day!

A Must Do!

This is an awesome value. When you factor in the breakfast and dinner with show it comes to be a little over $100.00 for the actual tour. There was about 20 or so on the tour, so it was not crowded and the bus was air conditioned. Thankfully as they were in the middle of a heat wave. Our driver as awesome, friendly and knowledgeable. We got to see all the main spots one would want to do while in this area all in one day and did not have the stress of driving, getting lost or hungry. Very relaxing. There is an optional lunch for purchase and would recommend that as well. Did not feel rushed at all and left after the fantastic dinner and show knowing that we got it all in.

Fun in the Black Forest

It’s a lot of time spent on the bus, but the bus driver (Ken) was excellent. He entertained us with history and funny anecdotes, and was a skilled driver. You may wish you had more time at the major stops, but it’s a good overview. Many bucket-list stops included. The food is not fancy or modern but is nicely prepared and decent home- cooking style fare. The surprising aspect for me was the band/music program included at the end, following the Chuckwagon dinner. I had moderate expectations, but it was excellent! This is a great value Viator excursion, especially for. the price. Helpful staff. Even my 16 years grandson enjoyed it.
