Itinerary

Admission not included60 min

The Fuji Shibazakura Festival, which started in 2008, is held at Motosuko Resort when the shibazakura plants are in bloom. Although there are famous spots for viewing shibazakura blossoms throughout Japan, Motosuko Resort is the only place where you can view shibazakura and Mt. Fuji together. The roughly 500,000 vivid shibazakura plants comprise the largest single expanse of shibazakura in the greater Tokyo area, and their pink, red, white, and purple blossoms, spread out like a carpet, create a beautiful landscape for your enjoyment.

Admission not included50 min

Traditional Japanese village located in Fujikawaguchiko Town, known as the most beautiful village in Japan, a picturesque spot with Mt. Fuji in the background. Destroyed by a landslide during a typhoon in 1966, it was reconstructed and reopened as an open-air museum and traditional craft village in 2006. Stroll through this ancient village, and marvel at the unique "armor structure" houses created by the villagers to resist the severe winter snow. Take a closer look at the thatched roofs and experience its livable characteristics of being warm in winter and cool in summer. Standing at the viewing point, overlooking Mount Fuji in the distance, the mountain peak and the roof complement each other, forming a beautiful picture.

15 min

Lake Kawaguchi is the most popular of the Fuji Five Lakes, renowned for its stunning panoramic views of Mount Fuji from the shore. It has the longest shoreline among the Fuji Five Lakes. On a calm, clear day, you can see a perfect mirror image of Mount Fuji reflected in the water. In 2013, the lake was added to the World Heritage List as part of the Fujisan Cultural Site.

25 min

Oishi Park is a beautiful scenic area where you can enjoy a stunning view of flowers, Lake Kawaguchi, and the majestic Mt. Fuji all at once. The lakeside promenade features various flowers that bloom according to the season. On the west side of the park, the "350-meter-long Flowers Road" offers a vibrant display of colorful blooms throughout the year. At the end of Flowers Road, you'll find Kochia (summer cypress) that flourishes from summer to autumn, making it a popular photo spot. Throughout the year, the park showcases 90 different types of seasonal flowers, with various blooms visible at any given time. As you stroll along the promenade surrounded by flowers and gazing at Mt. Fuji, you'll feel a sense of tranquility.

10 min

On the second floor of the Kawaguchiko Natural Living Center, you will find a unique perspective where you can easily capture the magnificent picture of the red torii blending with Mount Fuji.

50 min

The Chureito Pagoda, located in Arakurayama Sengen Park, is a must-see attraction. This park is renowned for its breathtaking panoramic views of Chureito Pagoda, Mt. Fuji, and Fujiyoshida City at the foot of the Mountain. To reach the Chureito Pagoda and the observation deck, visitors must climb 398 stairs. The view from the top is considered one of the best in Japan and is listed as one of the 21 must-visit places for photographers from around the world. While the cherry blossom season is ideal for capturing the iconic image of Mt. Fuji surrounded by cherry blossoms and the five-storied pagoda, the park offers stunning scenery throughout the year as the landscape changes with the seasons. Note: During the Golden Week in Japan (from May 1st to 7th), traffic around Mt. Fuji is expected to be heavily congested. We will be canceling the visit to Chureito Pagoda and Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine. This will allow us to allocate sufficient time for other attractions.

15 min

The shrine was built in 705 and has served as the guardian god of Arakura Village for over 1,300 years. It is a sacred place of worship where people seek protection against bad luck, promote harmony within their households, and pray for safe childbirth and successful child-rearing. Note: During the Golden Week in Japan (from May 1st to 7th), traffic around Mt. Fuji is expected to be heavily congested. To provide a better travel experience, we will be canceling the visit to Chureito Pagoda and Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine. This will allow us to allocate sufficient time for other attractions. Thank you for your understanding and support!

Well organized and great stops. I specifically chose this tour because of the flower festival and it did not disappoint. We had several opportunities to see Mt. Fuji. Stop times were reasonable. Good length of time for tour and guide Diffany was great!

Great day tour to see Mt. Fuji!

Great day tour from Tokyo and our guide, Taiyo, and his assistant, Snow, were great! We stopped at four different locations where the scenery were just beautiful. We didn’t get to see Mt. Fuji in full view but the surrounding areas we were taken were all amazing! Highly recommend this day tour! Oh and our driver was also great!

The best way to see Mt. Fuji!

We loved our day trip to see the festival and Mt. Fuji! The places we visited that are included in the itinerary and the views from the bus are a must see at least once in a lifetime! Also our guide Sandy was very attentive, friendly and informative. He gave recommendations for things to do and try at every stop to get the best of it. Definitely recommend this experience to everyone who wants to enjoy beautiful views and feel safe and taken care of!

Awesome trip to the Mt. Fuji

My boyfriend and me had a wonderful trip to Fuji with the guide Taiyo - he really did an amazing job and we saw the Mt Fuji at every Spot. He even helped me with a powerbank on the way back and was sooo nice! Thanks a lot Taiyo for the amazing experience. He also made awesome pictures which help us to remember the trip always.

Beautiful day, lovely views - Horrible Traffic!

Had a beautiful sunny day to see Mount Fuji along with the lovely pink flox gardens. Absolutely picture perfect!. Our guide Belle was one of the best guides I’ve ever had. She went out of her way to get everything organized via a WhatsApp chat group. Each stop she would send us coordinates and time for when to be back to the bus. I’ve never had a guide go to that extra level of care. Unfortunately, due to the very heavy traffic of it being the Golden Week vacation time in Japan, traffic was so bad that some of the originally planned stops we could not do. Also, because it was the end of Golden Week it took four hours to go the 66 miles back to Tokyo. What should’ve been a 10 hour tour turned into 13 1/2 hours.
