Mount Batur Sunrise Tour

Amazing experience! Hiking Mount Batur was definitely worth it. Our guide, Wira, was fantastic, friendly, helpful, and made the whole trek really enjoyable. He took great care of everyone and made sure we had an unforgettable sunrise.

Great to climb the mountain but should sadly let down by the driver being so late. The guide was fantastic but being so late to start meant there were no walking poles left and we only just made it for sunrise

The trek does require a moderate fitness level and it’s an early start but the sunrise is so unbelievable. Bring warm clothes for the summit - it is cold! Itu our guide was great as was Anom our driver - musik bagus sekali!

Amazing experience, Suba was our driver and drove very well. Yus was our guide and he made sure we went up and came down at the right time. We had one of the best seats to watch sunrise. Our breakfast was made for us as well as some hot chocolate. Highly worth while experience!!

Had a fantastic experience on the Mount Batur sunrise trek, and a huge part of what made it so special was the guide, Kuas, and the driver, Gede. Gede picked up right on time in the middle of the night. He was incredibly warm, welcoming, and a very safe driver, which made it easy to relax and rest a bit in the car before the hike. Once I arrived, Kuas took over as the trekking guide. He was absolutely lovely—friendly, patient, and very attentive to my slow pacing throughout the hike. He kept a great lookout for my safety while maintaining a warm and encouraging energy the whole way up. When I reached the top, he helped me to find a nice spot to enjoy the sunrise and even took some great photos for me. Just a genuine, warm hospitality from two wonderful locals. I highly recommend Kuas and Gede to guide you through the journey!

I had a great time, our guide Kuas was super friendly and took the hike at a comfortable pace for everyone, consistently checking in and bringing us a great breakfast at the top. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful morning on the Mount Batur Sunrise Trek. The views from the top were beautiful, almost spiritual, and well worth the early wake up and the strenuous hike. Our trekking guide, Wira, has been leading this trek for 8 years, and his experience really showed. He was highly knowledgeable, helpful, and took great care of us. Once we reached the top, he prepared a delicious breakfast consisting of banana sandwiches, bananas, boiled eggs, chocolate bars, and hot coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Wira particularly stood out for his photography skills! He was incredibly adept at capturing beautiful photos of us, even using two iPhones to create a really cool, mirrored-image special effect. I had to take one star off the review, however, due to the distracted driving from our driver, Erna. Erna was constantly on her phone while behind the wheel, at times swerving or making wide, sweeping turns with both hands on her device. She almost missed our hotel during the return drop-off and had to slam on the brakes for a hard stop. We were very relieved when we stepped out of the car. Overall, the trek itself and Wira’s guiding deserve a full 5 stars, but the company should address the safety behavior of the drivers.

One of the best experiences in my entire time in Bali- what an incredible hike! Started early at 130am, but the entire experience was seamless and so worthwhile for the view. Our tour guide, Wira, was absolutely wonderful- he was incredibly patient and kind with everyone in our group as we ascended in almost pitch darkness (we were given very handy headlights), knew the trail incredibly well and what places were good to stop to rest, guided us to a fantastic viewing spot and provided hot breakfast as we watched the sunrise, showed us the hot springs in the back, and helped everyone in the group take remarkable photos and videos of the scenery and each one of us from multiple angles. Trial was a bit steeper and more loose rocks than anticipated, but still doable and the view on top was well worth it. Highly recommend this tour and Wira as a tour guide!

We had a great time with our guide Kuas. He was super attentive, he carried up food and blankets for us, he also shared amazing fun facts! Would definitely recommend, thanks Kuas!
