Description
Experience the best of Bosnia and Herzegovina on a day trip to the country's main cities, including Mostar and Medjugorje. Leave Dubrovnik behind and visit Bosnia's only coastal town, Neum, and continue to Pocitelj, whose city center is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Pocitelj with your guide and see sights like the Haji-Ali Mosque and Sahat-kula. Next, spend time in Medjugorje, an important spiritual location for the Catholic world. Continue to Mostar and witness the town's mixed cultural background and historical sites, like Mostar's Old Bridge, before returning to Dubrovnik.
Tour Options
Itinerary
The tour starts with an early pick-up in Dubrovnik.
Enjoy free time to tour the most popular religious destination in the region.
After Medjugorje, join your driver and tour escort again for another short trip to the home of the region's most famous bridge, Mostar. Explore the narrow- cobblestone streets which make up the Old Town of Mostar with the Old Bridge at its center. Catch a glimpse of the fearless local divers who dive headfirst from the height of 24 meters into the whirling waters of the river Neretva below. Enjoy ample free time to see all the Old Town has to offer.
The Old Bridge Mostar is a reconstructed 16th-century Ottoman bridge that stands as a symbol of resilience, famously hosting local divers who leap into the river below.
Stop at the UNESCO-listed medieval town of Pocitelj on your way back. Take a break from the drive back and climb up the tower overlooking the Neretva river.
The Neretva river is an emerald-green waterway famous for its cold temperatures and stunning clarity as it flows through the heart of Mostar.

Drazen shared his knowledge of the country, knew how to find a short border queue and helped me re-unite with glasses that I left at the first stop.
I got a call 8:30the night before trip asking if I could postpone the trip, this was after it was confirmed earlier that day. The driver that came had never done the trip before gave no guidance we missed out Medugorje all together I had to pay $10 euros to see waterfalls not mentioned in booking. This trip was thrown together because something went wrong. I am not happy paying full price for it.
Dražen did a great job explaining the history of each place we visited as well as further information of the local areas/countries and gave first hand personal experience to part of his tour which goes a long way and shows how much he truly loves his country! The border control is a nightmare with the new digital ID system and adds so much time to the trip, however once through the trip itself was incredible! Sad to hear about the hotel and waterpark they are wanting to build close to Kravica Waterfalls, a natural beauty I feel will be sadly lost by the amount of tourists that will be brought in by this build. As a travel agent, I will recommend this tour with clients!
Incredible day out with a super friendly team, driver Zack and Drajan. Perfect mix of places to visit. Very knowledgable and detailed information from Drajan. Highly recommended.
Excellent trip. Drazen our guide was very informative and ensured we got through the border controls smoothly. Our driver ensured a smooth trip. Well worth doing and worth the money.
Absolutely amazing experience do not even think about not visiting. It is the most amazing place. The atmosphere is really amazing. The waterfalls and the village were absolutely beautiful. The team is absolutely amazing. The guide is really informative. I was really worried aboutwaiting too long at the border, but the team is very organized and they check from where to cross so you don’t wait long the visit about 12 hours total. I was also skeptical about it being a big group, but you don’t even feel it.
Drazen has been an excellent guide. He explain us very well every place we visited. He also, answered all our questions. There is something else we appreciated, Teo, the driver he is a very experienced and professional driver. We highly recommend this tour.
Great day trip from the scenery to our driver guide,Igor. He keeps us entertained with interesting stories. Also re-entering Croatia, it would have took an hour's wait. But he took us through a smaller customs post ,which was an extra interesting detour. Still got back to Dubrovnik on time!!!
Igor was informative and explained a lot to us about the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Also, he went above his duties to find us a taxi when we detoured from the itinerary.
Great experience, really enjoyed it and the tourist guide Igor was really helpful and informative.
