We invite you to make a private trip to the famous Abbey of Montserrat on a comfortable modern car round the corner from the apartments in Barcelona. The driver will meet at your hotel or mansion and you just need to sit down and enjoy the magnificent views when you head for this iconic Catalan attraction of Montserrat . You will have about 4 hours to explore this retreat on the top of the hill before you connect to your chauffeur for a trip to Barcelona.

Beautiful ride to Monserrat with wonderful driver who gave us tips to make the trip more enjoyable such as purchasing tickets in advance for the gondola and to see the black virgin, patron of Catalonia in the back of the basilica. The museum was also a nice surprise with works from some of the great masters and a wonderful sample of the best of Catalonia. Try a sample of local delicacies on the way out and if taking the gondola, there are lots of stairs. Not a place for people with mobility issues.
