Jordin, our guide was informing and professional. Our group of 8 felt like we were watched over regarding safety at all times. I chose not to go on the one hour hike to the chapel and cross because it was a little steep in places. I would highly recommend this tour.
We are happy to see that you liked the small group tour thanks!
The tour guide, Jordi, was awesome! Best tour guide we’ve ever had. The tour was great but the hiking climb at Montserrat is not as easy as indicated. There are some steep inclines that older folks will find challenging.
Thank you so much for your comments. The day of your tour we had to modify the usual easy hike that we do because the cable car was not operating. We are happy though to see that you liked our guide Jordi!
This was an excellent full-day tour with our guide, David. He was incredibly knowledgeable about every area we visited, and his enthusiasm was contagious. His English was perfect, and his cheerful personality made the whole experience even better. We learned so much about Montserrat, the monastery, and Sitges. We were lucky to witness a celebration at the monastery, which made the visit even more special. David guided us up the mountain to breathtaking views and shared fascinating insights along the way. In Sitges, he knew all the right spots to take us, and we thoroughly enjoyed each stop. The van was spacious and comfortable, and we felt completely safe with his driving—we even dozed off on the way back! Highly recommend this tour and David—he truly loves what he does, and it shows.

Very good tour and tour guide (Alan) for both places, scenic roads, recommendations for free time, etc.

James really looked after us well. His passion for his country and knowledge made this trip. You would be lucky to have him as your guide! The mountains were incredible and Sitges was glorious. All well timed and would recommend!
We are so happy to see that you liked this mountain and sea experience in Montserrat ans Sitges thanks!
This day trip was amazing and perfect to experience a little bit of Barcelona outside of the city. The basilica of Monserrat was stunning and learning about its history was insightful. Next stop, Sitges was a quaint seaside town with lots of history. James or Javme (in Catalan) our tour guide was fantastic. All in all, a wonderful and well worth it experience. Thank you!
Thank you for taking the time to write this review !
We had a great day tour with Jordi. He is very knowledgeable and funny. So close to Barcelona and yet so different, you won’t regret taking this day trip. I wouldn’t call the hike necessarily easy. I’d give it a 6/10 on the hard scale. I expected a 3😝 given the “easy” description. Montserrat and Sitges are so different. I was so pleased to see both mountain and sea in the same day as an escape from the bustling city of Barcelona.
Hi, thank you very much for your feedback. Montserrat and Sitges is a great way to enjoy both, the sea and the mountainns. I hope the hike wasn't too demanding, for the Montserrat-Sitges tour, it's generally 1.5 miles with an accumulated elevation gain of approx. 600ft.
We had a fabulous day with Alan touring Monserrat and Sitges. Pick up was right on time, good location, and timing avoided big, big crowds. Alan shared valuable insights about history, landscape, nature, etc. he made the tour special. And the sights were breathtaking. Best tour!
Hi Georgia, Thank you for your feedback. We really appreciate you taking the time to do so.
Our tour guide was incredible and chatted with us the entire time! He was very educated on the area and told us anything we could have wanted to know. It was so much fun and we absolutely loved Sitges and the warm weather! It was a lovely trip and I’d do it again in a heartbeat!
Hi Lauren, thank you very much for your feedback. Yes, seeing the mountains and the sea in on day is pretty special. Thanks again!
We had an awesome experience with our guide Alan. He had knowledge and patience with our group. His recommendations and comments were right on the money. Montserrat and Sitges are a must see attractions if you visit Barcelona
