Itinerary
Once in Barcelona Nord Bus Station, check-in at our Castlexperience office.
Enjoy a guided tour in Montserrat and visit all the highlights of the monastery by the hand of your local tour guide. You will then enjoy some free time to a palate some traditional foods made by Montserrat monks or farmers, as well as soaking in this special place where nature, culture and spirituality meet. Meet your tour guide again to get on board for the second part of the tour. Oller del Mas cellar awaits!
Set within a 10th-century castle, Oller del Mas is not a common winery – its superb ecological wines have earned plenty of awards in the recent years. In fact, one of its wines won the “Best Wine in Catalonia” award in 2018. But the cellar is not only special for its wines. You will take a stroll by the vineyards, learn how the wine is made, and discover all of its secrets. The winery has revived ancient local grape varieties, providing a unique glimpse into the region's heritage. *We work daily with different low-production, family-owned boutique wineries. Due to logistic reasons, you might visit another cellar instead of Oller del Mas.

Wow just wow. Both my partner and I were blown away. If you are reading this right now, you should defenitly book a spot for your next trip to Barcelona. Our guide Ivan was awesome, he brought the mood up, he created a positive atmosphere and he was supppperrrr knowledgeable not only about the history of Barcelona and Montserrat but also Art, and Wine. We loved Ivan and you would be super super lucky to have him as your guide. Montserrat is a beautiful place and there is something for everyone. We had a truely spiritual experience at the Basilica with the option to leave a candle for €2.5. The wine tour was fabulous, we purchased a bottle to drink when we were there and drunk it on the balcony at the end of the tour. We didn’t want leave.
One of the best tours I had here in Barcelona. The mountains, the lunch, and the wine were great. Our group even saw a wedding at the church on Montserrat, which was very cool. I tasted orange wine for the first time, and the tour guide, Lesly, is one of the best guides I have had here. The full day was definitely worth it.
The tour guides were awesome especially mr x! Not happy as vey misleading tour as we thought we were getting lunch included. We were not the only ones. We were told we could go and upgrade but as it was already very expensive didn’t bother. We also had booked a different one which was cancelled a few days before and refunded. Luckily I noticed on emails. Not impressed
Wow, what a great tour! From beginning to end Xavi was personable, funny, attentive and wonderful! I highly recommend this tour. Food and wine was delicious and Monserrat was fabulous. 5 stars, thank you Xavi you made the trip fabulous!
Great tour! Xavi was amazing.
Wonderful experience. Well organized, informative, and FUN!
Carla was a fantastic host. She handled every question and was cheerful and helpful in every way. We had a few setbacks like the bus not arriving but she made us feel great regardless. What a wonderful smile too!!!
We had a great time at the Montserrat with Carla who was the best guide. The food and wine were excellent and a great way to conclude the tour !
Alejandro was a terrific guide. Knowledgable about history, expert in wine, and a great manager of time so we had enough relaxing free time after getting our bearings. The mountain and the Black Madonna were moving and breathtaking. The wine was lovely. Even saw a donkey at the vineyard!
What we signed up for and paid for is not what we received. We paid for trip, with winery tasting and tapas. Our ticket itinerary stated this but when we got to winery they said we did not have that option. We showed the guide our ticket and he said his list showed no wine tasting. When you signnup write down exactly what you pay for. Final ticket is not clear and therefore the company can get away withbit. Employees even stated that there are issues. Trip up mountain was wonderful but overall we got shortchanged and paid for more than what we got.
