A casual, engaging, and deeply interesting tour from a chill dude.

First off - Pierre’s tour was fantastic! My wife and I were gifted one of his walking tours for our honeymoon, and it was easily the best present we got. Pierre was extremely casual and easy to talk to, which is great because he has plenty to say! He’s full of knowledge about Paris art, history, architecture; he even indulged me with a bit of the “local’s news” - although plainly his preferred topic was his obvious love for the beauty of his city. From ancient defensive fortifications we would’ve never even noticed on our own, to the architectural style and time periods of the buildings we passed, to the works and lives of famous artists of the areas we were in - even the most recent modern street art hiding in plain sight all around the city - Pierre had something interesting and entertaining to say about it all and much more. However, none of this was…”too much”, or exhausting, in the way some tour guides can be. He’s not constantly reciting corny, canned jokes, or droning on and on like some pompous academic. He points things out in a casual manner, and will expand further if you want him to. The whole tour was all very natural, we felt like we were just hanging out with a friend, who happened to know all about Paris. Specific to our tour - we saved it for last as a “farewell” to the city. We fully expected to be taken to the same places we’d already been, but Pierre suggested an alternative route (which he seemed to invent on-the-fly), suggesting places we could go to around the areas the tour normally went that we hadn’t already seen, or returning to places we had been if we wanted his perspective. Truly a unique and wonderful experience, and an excellent send-off for our Paris trip. We literally can’t recommend his tours enough. We might book another just to hang out and pick his brain some more! Thank you Pierre! We wish you all the best. - Brennon and Autumn

An awesome day

Spent a day with Pierre-Yves visiting all things Monet at Giverny and Montmatre. Pierre was very knowledgeable, attentive and so flexible. Traveling alone he showed me the places I wouldn't have explored on my own. Thank you Pierre.
