Itinerary
Scenic drive along the Bay of Kotor passing villages Bijela, Kamenari, Verige (photo-stop), Morinj, and Risan before arrival in Perast. The guide explains the history of Montenegro, its culture, people, customs, food, and wine.
Short photo-stop at the viewpoint near Perast. Marvel at the stunning scenery of Kotor Bay with the islands of Saint George and Our Lady of the Rocks in front.
Admire this iconic man-made island and its 17th-century baroque church from the scenic Perast shoreline. It is one of the most photographed maritime landmarks in the Adriatic, steeped in local legend and history.
Upon arrival in Kotor, once an independent city-state, and from the 14th century under Venetian influence, you will have time to explore its narrow streets, sunny squares, and churches, followed by time for lunch (optional). We recommend entering Saint Tryphon Cathedral, Saint Nicolas Orthodox Church (free), and climbing Kotor town walls at Kampana Tower (free)
Discover this elegant 16th-century Ottoman masterpiece, an architectural gem featuring distinct stone arches over the Trebisnjica River. It remains one of the most significant historical landmarks in Bosnia and Herzegovina and a perfect spot for photography.
Your guide will explain how the city of Trebinje grew over the centuries. Visit the Old Town of Trebinje and its wide 19th-century Austrian alleys and squares, covered by the thick shade of Great Plane Trees. Visit the 17th-century Ottoman Turkish walled part of the city and enter through an auxiliary town gate to the Trebisnjica riverfront. Learn about the Bosnian way of life, people, customs, and its delicious food. If you did not have lunch already, try a portion of Chevapcici (meat sticks in Pita bread with cream cheese), or taste some of the local sweets such as baklava or urmasica.
Climb up the Hercegovacka Gracanica hill for great panoramic views of the whole town of Trebinje area, Friars' field, Trebisnjica River, and Leotar mountain in the back. Enter the church of the Holy Annunciation (free) and marvel at the ceiling frescoes and huge golden chandeliers.

Jusip made this trip so memorable. Great guy , very comfortable car. It was just the two of us . He was very knowledgeable about the Balkans and a super driver
I recently enjoyed an amazing tour of Montenegro and Bosnia with our private guide, Miho. His deep knowledge of each country's history, combined with his great sense of humor, made the experience truly memorable. Although the drive was long, Miho kept us entertained and laughing, which made the journey a lot of fun. I highly recommend this tour!
A must-do if you have the time. Our guide was great and one of the best drivers I’ve ever seen. It was interesting to visit two additional countries all in one day.
Great private tour. Well worth doing and our tour guide was really friendly and informative. Definitely recommend
The trip was quiet long but sensational. I would love to spend some more hours in Sarajevo. Didn’t have time for not even one museum
We had a fantastic day with our guide, Miho. He was a skilled driver and knowledgable guide. He knows a lot about history and wine, too! We went on a Saturday, which made us wary of very long border crossing lines. Miho was well-aware of this and expertly avoided any long delays. Miho was personable, entertaining, and a highly experienced guide. We loved visiting all three sights, all unique in their own way. We highly recommend this tour, especially if Miho can be your guide.
This was a great tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and helped us better understand the region. We traveled w our four children ages 10-17 and everyone loved it.
What a great way to see two different countries in one day!! We had Kristina as our guide and she is great! She Gave us lots of knowledge and key things to see and places to eat at our stops, border crossings where easy and not to long of a wait. Highly recommend if you have a spare day and want to be driven around in a nice air conditioned car seeing some different towns and countries.
We had a great tour with Kristina! So many beautiful sights and cultural insights. Really grateful we booked this tour.
Great day trip! Bosnia was beautiful and Kotor Montenegro even better. Our guide Baldo was funny, personable and knew how to get across all borders in the least amount of time which enabled us to see more sights. It was a great day!!!
Thank you so much for your review. We are thrilled to hear that you had such a great day exploring Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. We are glad you enjoyed the beautiful sights, especially Kotor, and that Baldo helped make your experience even more special with his humour, friendly personality, and excellent local knowledge. His ability to navigate the borders smoothly and make the most of your day is exactly what helps create a relaxed and enjoyable journey. Thank you for booking our tour.
