Scenic drive along the Bay of Kotor passing villages Bijela, Kamenari, Verige (photo-stop), Morinj, and Risan before arrival in Perast. The guide explains the history of Montenegro, its culture, people, customs, food, and wine.
Short photo-stop at the viewpoint near Perast. Marvel at the stunning scenery of Kotor Bay with the islands of Saint George and Our Lady of the Rocks in front.
Admire this iconic man-made island and its 17th-century baroque church from the scenic Perast shoreline. It is one of the most photographed maritime landmarks in the Adriatic, steeped in local legend and history.
Upon arrival in Kotor, once an independent city-state, and from the 14th century under Venetian influence, you will have time to explore its narrow streets, sunny squares, and churches, followed by time for lunch (optional). We recommend entering Saint Tryphon Cathedral, Saint Nicolas Orthodox Church (free), and climbing Kotor town walls at Kampana Tower (free)
Discover this elegant 16th-century Ottoman masterpiece, an architectural gem featuring distinct stone arches over the Trebisnjica River. It remains one of the most significant historical landmarks in Bosnia and Herzegovina and a perfect spot for photography.
Your guide will explain how the city of Trebinje grew over the centuries. Visit the Old Town of Trebinje and its wide 19th-century Austrian alleys and squares, covered by the thick shade of Great Plane Trees. Visit the 17th-century Ottoman Turkish walled part of the city and enter through an auxiliary town gate to the Trebisnjica riverfront. Learn about the Bosnian way of life, people, customs, and its delicious food. If you did not have lunch already, try a portion of Chevapcici (meat sticks in Pita bread with cream cheese), or taste some of the local sweets such as baklava or urmasica.
Climb up the Hercegovacka Gracanica hill for great panoramic views of the whole town of Trebinje area, Friars' field, Trebisnjica River, and Leotar mountain in the back. Enter the church of the Holy Annunciation (free) and marvel at the ceiling frescoes and huge golden chandeliers.

Highly recommend this tour with Miho!! He was very knowledgeable about the wineries and the surrounding areas! Took this on our first day in Dubrovnik and we haven’t stopped talking about how much fun it was!!
The tour was great! We loved being able to visit two countries in one day! Everything ran on time and we were able to explore both cities at our leisure.
This was a great small group tour of Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina. We were picked up and dropped off where we were staying, and it was a very pleasant ride through the countries with stops for pictures, shopping, and lunch.
This tour was really good! Having our guide Josip tell us about the area and history made the trip special! He was knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating. You won’t regret taking this tour (and wait to eat in Bosnia!)
Fantastic! We had the best time on our tour. We loved all the history and stories that were told by our guide. 10/10 would recommend!
Best way to get two country spots in 1 day. Very informative driver and tour guide, kindness and helfpulness top notch.
Our family went to Kotor Bay & Bosnia with Miho and he was amazing! He was personable and full of history and unbelievable stories. We were so grateful of the stories he shared with us. He is forever part of our vacation memories! Book with him if you are able; you will be glad you did! Miho, I hope our paths cross again! Enjoy your family!
We had a great tour to the Bay of Kotor and Trebinje led by Josip. Josip arranged our pickup at a location very close to our apartment and was great at communicating before the tour. We enjoyed the information he shared along the way and watching the wonderful scenery on our drive. Josip arranged a local tour guide to give us an orientation to Kotor, then we enjoyed some free time. From there we drove into Bosnia & Herzegovina. He easily handled all the border crossing and offered good suggestions for exploring Trebinje. Overall a great tour and excellent overview of two interesting places. Thank you Josip for a wonderful tour!
We went to Bosnia & Herzegovina and Montenegro on a wine tasting tour. Our guide, Baldo, expertly guided us through border crossings to get us to a cute village in Bosnia that had a fabulous pastry shop and an outdoor town market. After, we tasted delicious wine at a former monastery before making our way to the second, and stunningly beautiful winery in Montenegro. We ended with another winery visit in Croatia. The trip was filled with information and stories, and it was a delightful day!
Great day thanks to awesome driver/guide Miho! His knowledge of the region, and the wineries we visited, was fantastic. Miho was genuine, courteous, professional and a whole lot of fun. Highly recommend this trip!
