Get a taste of REAL Jamaican food prepared by everyday Jamaicans, eat like a local. Begin your lunch food tour with a stop at a traditional restaurant to enjoy classic Jamaican dishes such as oxtail (subject to availability), brownstew pork, beef stew or curried goat served with a side of rice and peas and stemmed veges. Next stop is the patty shop to sample beef patty, cheesy beef patty or chicken patty. Finish at a renowned eatery where you'll savor juicy jerk chicken, marinated in a blend of island spices and slow-cooked over pimento wood. (Optional) We’ll also make a stop at KFC to try the most popular American fast food hotspot that has been adopted by the Jamaican massive. Stops at the Local supermarket and souvenir shopping also available as add-ons. We also offer a variety of other add-on stops so just let us know in the field labeled "Special requirements".

Das was an excellent host! He was knowledgeable about the history of Jamaica, Montego Bay, and about the food that we enjoyed! Be sure to come hungry because there won't be a shortage of delicious foods to eat! We enjoyed delicious Jamaican patties, brown stew chicken, oxtail, jerk chicken/pork along with cocoa bread and festival! I couldn't have asked for a better experience! It was well worth it!!

Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared great insight into the culture, history, and food scene of Montego Bay, which made the experience even more meaningful. This was a great experience. Mama G is the best. All of the restaurants were great. She was knowledgeable about the area and a safe driver. My first time with 2 of the foods including the pig tale (which was excellent). And possibly the best chicken I've ever had.
Das was amazing, and the foodie tour was more than we expected. He shared the history of Jamaica and pointed out landmarks as we drove, which made the experience even richer. Five stars for Das—two thumbs up! He took us to four incredible food spots and was kind enough to stop at KFC because everyone said we had to try it, making it five stops total. He took pictures of us and explained everything we were eating, which added a personal touch. Das was also an excellent driver—he had cold water in the car, great air conditioning, and was super friendly and easy to talk to. We’ll definitely be recommending him to all our friends and family visiting Jamaica. It’s the perfect way to get authentic food off the resort while enjoying a tour at the same time. The foodie tour exceeded my expectations—come hungry, because you’ll be full and ready for a nap on the way back!
⸻ I had such a great time on the Montego Bay food tour with Das! Pickup was seamless, communication was excellent, and he was super chill and genuinely kind. Every stop he introduced us to was delicious though I won’t spoil the surprises, because half the fun is not knowing what’s coming next. I definitely wish I had booked more tours with him. I always try to do a food tour wherever I travel, but Jamaica can be tricky since you’re already served so much food at resorts. That’s why Das’s knowledge of local dishes, along with his advice on what’s a must try and what to skip, made the experience extra valuable.
