Your afternoon and evening tour begins with hotel pickup in Negril, the Grand Palladium resort in Lucea or Montego Bay (depending on option selected); if you’re picked up in Negril or at Grand Palladium, enjoy the drive along Jamaica’s beautiful northern coast to Montego Bay. When you arrive in Mobay, as it’s commonly called by the locals, get to know the city on a one-hour sightseeing tour to attractions like Sam Sharpe Square, named after a slave leader who led the revolt known as the Christmas Slave Rebellion in 1831. Walk around the square, admiring the statue of Sam Sharpe, the St James Museum and the surrounding colonial buildings. Then check out St James Parish Church, one of Jamaica's finest churches with its stained glass and sculptures by English artist John Bacon, and take a drive through residential areas to marvel at the Georgian homes that date back to the glorious sugar-trading days
Next, the second portion of your combo begins with the 15-minute drive to Rose Hall Great House, an 18th-century Georgian mansion made famous by the legend of Annie Palmer, the ‘White Witch of Rose Hall.’ According to the tale, Annie killed her three husbands and several slave lovers before being killed herself in her bed. During your one-hour candlelit tour through the mansion, listen to the story and find out for yourself if Annie truly haunts the house, which also boasts period furnishings for you to admire.

We do ghost tours at most of our vacation spots. You learn a lot about the history of a town this way. This haunted tour in particular was a step up. It is an interactive ghost tour. Evenings only. There are people dressed up as former residents and they show up at times is all I will say. Highly recommend. The native music and dance at the beginning was cool too. Very friendly staff. There is a pub at the end to help calm your nerves. We had the first tour after hurricane Melissa.

Driver Michael did not take us anywhere but Great house . Not if the other sites included did he stop . i was very disappointed and it felt like we over paid for a ride . Very disappointing i would not recommend waste of money over priced ride to Great house. Great house was an overall nice experience tour guide was very nice and informative . visiting the house was a nice experience but not worth the price.

This was an interesting tour with a very intriguing story behind the house. The driver was quite informative and the tour guide did her best to make the story come alive. A nice afternoon activity suitable for everyone.

Our family of 5 enjoyed this experience more than any other haunted house tour we have attended. Our guide, Sophia, was phenomenal and told the story well. The actors made the experience as real as it could get. Kudos to everyone at Rose Hall! We toured the evening of March 19, 2025. I highly recommend this tour!
My husband and I booked the tour because I enjoy haunted house history. To our disappointment it wasn’t about the history of the beautiful mansion but more focused on actors scaring you and interrupting the guide. Not allowed to take any pics which is unlike haunted mansions we’ve visited in Savannah, Georgia and at home in Kentucky. It was dangerous with very dim lighting and actors continually jumping out and screaming. Another lady and I said several times it was very distracting with all the fake activity going on. Took us out to the crypt of lady that killed three of her husbands and again very dim lighting and stumped my toe on an object right by the back door. We felt like we just made a donation of $100 and a waste of our time. If you want to be scared in a haunted house then go to them during Halloween when you know what to expect. Not recommended to waste your money or time on this crap if a tour.

The driver was very nice. Visiting the super interesting Rose Hall house, I really liked the guide and history of this house. The view is amazing from the White House. Me I went by day and of course, no ghost seen 🫣
Took 40 minutes to find the driver! Boo. Driver barely talked. It was more like a very expensive taxi ride
Sorry but our drivers pick up at the hotel lobby of each hotel. I apologize that he wasn't talkative enough and we will certainly look into that with him.
