It is a very flexible half day option We'll meet in our office, we'll get the group together and we'll be done, we'll travel 30 minutes to Monte Alban. Our guide will be waiting for us either in Spanish or English (choose ) We will buy our entrance tickets (Not Included $210 MXN Foreign/$105 Domestic January 2026) and start our tour We are very well known for the quality of our guides, passionate , experts and make the visit very enjoyable, review our reviews . Our guide explains the history of the archaeological site (Duration Spanish Explanation 1hr - 1.30hr) (English 2hrs ) and then we will have free time to take photos The guide and/or driver will recommend the time to meet us at the end of the tour. (Optional) *If you want to be on site longer you can take advantage of our collective shuttle service to Oaxaca every hour WITHOUT COST , ask our guide and operator for more information Return will be 30 min to the center of the CD.

Had a great time learning about the Zapotecs and the site. Miguel was very informative and knowledgeable of the site and mesoAmerican history. He gave great tips for after, like visiting toumb 7 at the museum.
Our transportation never picked us up after the excursion and we had to take a local bus after waiting for almost an hour. We called the agency and they kept saying traffic was bad which was a lie because there was no traffic once we got on the local bus. The tour guide was even rude at the end when we kept asking when our transportation would be arriving.
What a fantastic experience! The drive to Monte Alban was smooth. Miguel, our guide, was a gem. He was full of knowledge and knew all the history of the Zapotecs. He spoke perfect English and used humour when he was talking about the history. Thanks for a great tour!
Miguel was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and entertaining. We purchased the half day but truly could have spent another couple of hours listening to more of the details.

Was really disappointed in this company. They refused to honor a request from Viator to reschedule our tour dates due to a mixup somewhere. So I paid for four people in advance and fid not receive any service. Buyer beware, a simple acknowledgement would have suffice but did not receive anything.

Highly recommend this tour! Our tour guide Miguel was so knowledgeable and gave us so much context and history. The site was beautiful and really interesting. Half day was plenty and it was nice to get there before it was too hot and be back for lunch.
