Montana Whitewater Half Day Raft Trip - Yellowstone River
Description
Our Half Day Classic Raft trip begins at the northern border of Yellowstone National Park, right where the Gardiner River converges with the mighty Yellowstone River. This trip is fun for the whole family as we run Class 1-3 (water level dependent, call our office to ask about current river conditions) and take children as young as 6! Ride the waves at Bridge Waves, Man Eater, Loonie's and Boonie's Revenge, Queen of the Waters, and the KING! Take in the breathtaking view of Devil’s Slide. Float through some flat water stretches that are great for swimming and relaxing. This trip is great for first time rafters or family groups with wide age and ability ranges. This trip is 8 miles on the river, roughly 1-1.5 hours of on the water fun depending on water levels (CFS), and roughly 2.5-3 hours door-to-door. This includes gear up, gear down, and a short drive to and from the river, no more than 15 minutes total in the bus, round trip!

So beautiful, so fun! We had Robert as our guide and he was top notch! I was nervous initially as my whole world (husband& kids) were on this ride, but Robert was such a good guide we never felt unsafe and enjoyed the whole experience. So worth it for some fun family memories.
Our family of three had a fantastic experience with Chelan. The outing was enjoyable, well‑run, and included some time for swimming. As first‑time rafters, we were impressed with how smooth and memorable the entire trip was.

We had a great experience on a very cold day! Our guide, Wolf, made us forget all about the weather & we had a great time. He gave us the history of the river, told some dad jokes & overall gave us an awesome time!

Fantastic rafting down the Yellowstone River. Our guide, Bo, was excellent. He made us feel super safe and constantly entertained thru the rapids and the quieter sections. He was full of interesting facts about the landscape around us, and made sure the whole raft felt included by asking questions to prompt conversations. We had three chances to cool off by swimming next to the raft, floating past ospreys was wonderful. Loved the story about Evel Knievel and the bacon stripe.
Took my 11 yr old Gson on the Yellowstone White Water rafting trip today and it was amazing. Sienna was our guide and from the moment we put in the water she had it under control and she was personable and knowledgeable and answered any and all questions. Highly recommend the entire company and all their guides and employees were great

We took a family of 16 of all ages. It was the most wonderful experience. Our guides were Kyle, Brandon and Fletcher. They were friendly, knowledgeable and great with kids. I highly recommend this adventure for any family visiting.
