Cute smaller castle with a wonderful view and excellent wine. Learned a lot about the owner family and wine production, the guide was very knowledgeable! We definitely recommend!
What a beautiful vineyard. Our guide ,Alice, was wonderful. She opened so many delicious bottles of wine it was hard to choose which we liked best. This tour is a must in Tuscany !
The guide talks a lot about the environment and not the product, that causes you to lose interest in the wine offered
Alice was very personable and took good care of us. She led us through the beautiful property giving us the historical background of the fortress, family and area, as well teaching us about Brunello wine and the winery. The tasting room was filled with old world antiques and decor. I felt I was in a castle! The wine and cheese were delicious, the other couple who joined us were lovely. We had a great time. Thank you Alice!!
I expected a more organized canteen in terms of wine tasting, especially in reception and attention. a little messy. I had better expectations.
Magnificent castle built in 1441. Beautiful historical visit told by Alicia, eloquent and captivating. Modest place and so rich in culture. Thank you Alicia for this beautiful visit and captive narration!
The right girl, the very small cellars. The visit was very short for the price. The wine was fine but little quantity. Value for money experience
Our experience did not meet our expectations. Arrived early and not a good place to wait. Our tour was only 40 min, started about 12 min late. A non English tour started at the same time as ours was supposed to start and didn’t come in for the tasting till we were all done, lasting twice as long as our tour. We were very disappointed in the quality of the tour, and we have always had good luck with viator.
The location was lovely: high on a hilltop a 1700s building. Our tour of the vineyard’s operations was about 30 minutes. Our tour guide Alessio was very knowledgeable and quite funny once we were in the tasting room. Our tour group was limited to 10 people which gave everyone a good opportunity to ask questions. They gave us four of their Brunello wines to taste and explained their various qualities. All in all, a very enjoyable time.
The wine tasting was not even remotely worth its price, only the nice lady who made the tour and the ancient walls could convince. The wines were served very “sparingly” and the two “cracker sticks” packed in plastic bags were carefully expressed as an absolute cheekiness, especially as they were served with a wine that was not exactly a bargain at 55 € per bottle. There were also cheaper ones at the trial, but I can also buy them at REWE around the corner! We also gave up the purchase of the only really good wine, which we would classify as absolutely overpriced. All in all, this wine tasting is not worth the price, so fingers off.
