Monkey Island, Amazon River, Amazonian Sunset

Since I was very little, I dreamed of visiting Iquitos. Today I can say that it was one of the best experiences of my life, thanks to Iquitos Experience Tours, who made every moment unforgettable. We stayed 4 days and 3 nights at Amazon View Lodge, located in the Florido neighborhood, a beautiful place on the banks of the majestic Amazon River, perfect for disconnecting from the chaos of the city and connecting with nature. From the moment we arrived, they treated us like family. The owner, the guides, and all the service staff made us feel welcome from the very first moment, always with a smile, kindness, and exceptional service. We had the opportunity to sail along the imposing Amazon River, venture into the jungle, and discover incredible places that I never imagined visiting. Each activity was a unique experience: watching the sunrise over the Amazon, going on a night hike through the jungle, sailing at night along the river while looking for stars, and discovering the immensity of the Amazon were moments that will remain in my memory forever. Without a doubt, all the activities were top-notch! 🌿✨ A very special thank you to the guides Nicolle and Erik, who, in addition to demonstrating extensive knowledge of the Amazon, were incredibly charismatic, attentive and were always making sure that we enjoyed every moment. On every tour they shared fascinating information about the flora, fauna, culture and customs of the area, answering every question with patience and enthusiasm. The love and passion with which they perform their work is noticeable, making every tour complete, dynamic, entertaining and truly enriching. And I cannot fail to mention the food… simply spectacular! Every dish that we enjoyed at the lodge was delicious, prepared with a lot of care and with flavors that made the experience even more special. Everything was exquisite! I leave deeply grateful for everything experienced and with the certainty that I will return. I recommend it with my eyes closed! If you are thinking about visiting Iquitos, do not hesitate to live this experience. Truly amazing experience- start to finish. Proactive and detailed communication that started several days before the trip (via WhatsApp). Transportation to/ from hotel on time and super nice. The excursion itself was wonderful. Beautiful scenery, lots of interesting information, guides that were extremely warm and fun. The food was AMAZING! I am so happy I came on this trip. It was truly the highlight of my nine days in Peru.

It was more than I was expecting. Monkey island was so informative and it was so nice to just watch all the monkeys in a somewhat natural habitat and not in a cage. All the other activities were great as well but monkey island was my favorite part!

I had the best birthday experience. I decided to spend my 30th in Iquitos, and the friends from Iquitos Experience Tours prepared a birthday surprise for me. I had an incredible time!
