Private tours are great and this was fit that criteria perfect. Daniel was able to pick up directly at hotel and drive around the city. He was very informative on local history and neighborhoods. Because this is private you can take as long or little time needed. Daniel has several areas he can take you to depending on your time and adventure level. Would recommend this to anybody wanting to get away from the bus tours and really have that experience with a local.
Great experience! Daniel was a wonderful tour guide. The equator explanation and experiments were fun for our three generation family. I would highly recommend it. The cable car ride was good but you MUST walk all the way to the swing in the sky. It was totally worth it.
We had an excellent guide, Mauro, who took us to the Teléferico in the morning because the weather was perfect. Others should know that where the cable car ends at 3,000 meters, there is still a hike of another 1,400 meters to the summit. It was well worth the exertion and the views were spectacular. The second stop was Museo di Intañan where a guide taught us all about the equator. We loved it. Our lunch at Calima gave us the opportunity to try some local foods. It was excellent. Mauro was so kind, patient and gracious throughout the day. We would highly recommend him.
The whole visit with Christian was lovely. We visited both sites for the Mitad del Mundo (I find the 'real' one a bit more complete than the 'historical' one, albeit the latter is much more grandiose, and more prone for photos, if that's what you're into). The way up the TeleferiQo and the short hike up there was great to. Magnificent view on whole of Quito. Everything was well organized, Christian even showed up a few minutes early, and guided us through all visits with many info and small facts. Just beware that if the weather turns while you're on top of, or inside the cable car, you might be stuck there for some time as it doesn't operate in bad weather.
It was incredible our guide, Daniel was awesome, friendly, informative, and accommodating. Would ghighly recommend this tour
ask for Ricky! So knowledgeable and friendly. Made it easy and took great care of us. Enjoyed his information along our drive. Great sense of humor and very professional. Ricky was very prompt and again we would highly recommend.
Tour was exceptional. Our guide, Daniel, changed the order of the events so we would not get caught in a late day rain. All the stops were fascinating and taught us something about Ecuador
Pamela was awesome! She shared so much wonderful information about Quito and was so knowledgeable about everything. Highly recommend this tour and Pamela!
Very good experience, the guide had extensive knowledge of the topics and was flexible throughout. Recommended 100 percent.
We had a terrific time on this tour! Pamela was our guide and made our experience especially great; she was highly knowledgable, friendly, and welcoming. She also made sure that the tour was exactly what we were looking for, allowing exactly the amount of time we wanted at each location (plus lunch!). As for the activities themselves - wow! The cable car seemed to climb forever and the cloud swing was amazing. And that view!! Along the way, Pamela introduced us to the native plants along the walkway, giving us information about each one. And the Mitad del Mundo was fantastic. At first, we were bummed that Pamela had to pass us along to another guide (rules of the museum, I believe), but Jhon was also wonderful. We learned so much and had the opportunity to experience things firsthand. On our way back, we stopped (at our request) at a restaurant that had the most delicious local food - and which gave us one more chance to chat with, and learn from, Pamela before the end of the tour. What a day!
