Miami Half Day Deep Sea Fishing Tour from Bayside Marketplace

Description
Welcome to The Reward Fleet, Miami’s Premier fishing attraction! Our vessels are US Coast Guard-inspected to safely conduct offshore voyages with large groups of passengers. Our 70-foot vessel "Another Reward" has an air-conditioned cabin, men's and women's restrooms, with full outdoor seating and walk around deck for your comfort. Enjoy seeing Miami from a different perspective as we head out to sea in search of a variety of species – snappers and groupers, amberjack and kingfish, with sailfish, tuna, and shark are a possibility. At times we’ll anchor and chum, sometimes we’ll drift while live-baiting, using dead bait, or jigging. We are the ONLY party fishing vessel that offers live bait, when available, at an additional charge of $20 per person, one per group. Of course, we cannot guarantee great catching. However, our crew will happily teach you how to use the equipment, untangle your lines, bait your hooks, and answer any questions you may have in Spanish and English.

This was a very fun experience for me. I booked this trip for me and my dad on my birthday June 9th. We had a good time went out deep and caught some fish. But the instructors and ride was very mesmerizing. Thanks would definitely book again.
Thank you for the kind review. We will share it with the crew! Captain Wayne
One of the guides with long hair was extremely rude to eveyone and screaming at people. No warning to bring your own drinks and we were extremely thirsty.
I apologize for the issues you experienced, and assure you that it will be discussed with the crew onboard your trip. Thank you for your review, it helps us be better!
We received terrible directions to the meeting point, which was only an address of a huge mall. When we could not find the spot, I called the provided number and the woman who answers the phone was very rude. Then before w even stepped one on the boat (family of 6) the guide was demanding an upfront gratuity of $70!!! His reasoning for wanting an upfront gratuity was because “they always got stiffed”. No welcomed. No great to have you. Just we want your money. I understand the importance of tipping and we are good tippers for good service But never should it be demanded up front. And then there is an additional $20 fee for live fish that is no where advertised. We did have fun amongst ourselves. We did catch a few fish. There was one great and energetic female deck hand. I wish I would have booked with a different company.
Thank you for your honest review. You have valid concerns that will be addressed immediately with the staff involved. There are no excuses for any negative attitudes toward our customers! I'm sorry you had that experience. Regarding tipping, we have a policy of a required gratuity of 5 passengers or more. I apologize if this wasn't apparent in the booking process. I am updating this now, thank you. Tips are never expected otherwise but should be earned. Regarding the live bait fee. We never know when it's available and is only offered when it is available. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused for you and your party. Captain Wayne OWNER
Would have Beennice to catch some fish and not clear instructions for Meeting up, Staff helpful In finally meeting up
My son and I were in Miami for summer vacation. We wanted to try a deep sea fishing excursion. The captain was very descriptive of what to expect. The one crew member made it abundantly clear that he only got paid through tips and that his attention would be focused on them. He mentioned tips one too many times, IMO. Pay the crew so each participant doesn’t feel pressured to tip. We paid for the trip. I didn’t expect preferential treatment, but the continual conversation was tiring and disappointing.
Thank you for your honest review, the issues you mention are not reflective of our policy! Do you know the name of the crewmember? What was the date and time of your trip? I assure you, our crew are paid for their services. Tipping is and should be never mentioned beyond the captain saying if the crew did a great job, tipping is appreciated. Thank you again for your review, it will help us be better.
You need to like sea fishing. Its not for casual tourists. Far too many people on the boat on the one side. Constantly lines getting tangled. Staff great though
Thank you for your honest review. Because we are open to the general public in an attempt to provide an affordable experience for all, at times we get very busy. Sometimes we can anchor the boat and fish all the way around, but have to fish only one side when conditions dictate. Thank you for mentioning our crew's efforts.
We had an absolutely fantastic fishing trip from start to finish! The captain and crew were knowledgeable, professional, and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable throughout the day. They knew exactly where to find the fish and were always willing to help, whether it was baiting hooks, offering fishing tips, or sharing local knowledge.
Great crew. Put us on fish. Tremendous ride and overall good experience. Recommend to anyone wanting some small fish action
Good coaching and assistance with rods, bait, etc. (You can keep fish if you choose.). Beautiful shoreline.
Thank you for your positive review. I will share it with your crew who will be inspired!
We booked this charter based on the great reviews, but unfortunately our experience didn't match what we were expecting. The biggest issue was how crowded the boat was. With so many people fishing at once, lines were constantly getting tangled, which meant a lot of time was spent waiting instead of actually fishing. By the end of the trip, only two fish had been caught across the entire charter, which was pretty disappointing. The crew was polite and worked hard, and we understand that catching fish is never guaranteed. However, the overall experience felt rushed and overcrowded, making it difficult to really enjoy the trip. If you're looking for a more hands-on or productive fishing experience, you may want to consider a smaller charter.
Thank you for your honest review. You hit on some issues that are difficult to mitigate. The crowding issue is understandable. We try to accommodate everyone whether they booked previously or walked up at departure time. When this happens, we will primarily anchor the boat so as to fish all around, and not only on one side, which we do routinely with 25 plus passengers. If we need to use 2 sides we can drift fish, but only when the lines don't go at conflicting angles. Wind and current conditions can make a nightmare out of any scenario no matter what we do. Regarding the catch, we understand your disappointment. Unfortunately, fish only bite when hungry, and we have to try to find them hungry on every trip. You will not see our boat sitting in one spot the duration of the trip unless we are successful. I'm happy you mentioned the crews efforts. This is something we take great pride in and can control! I will forward your comments to your crew, and thank you again. Captain Wayne, OWNER
