Start in Christchurch, where you’ll begin your bespoke tour filled with views of untouched Cantabrian landscapes as you pass through the majestic Rakaia River Gorge to Methven Village, found at the foothills of the Southern Alps. Arrive to Ōpuke and feel immersed in nature from the moment you walk through the doors. Receive entry to your own locker with a robe and towel then enjoy luxurious relaxation in Tranquility, the adult exclusive pools complete with a swim up bar (NZ accepted ID may be required for entry). Alternatively, enjoy a soak in Discovery, which is open to all ages. After 2 hours of relaxation in the solar thermal pools at Ōpuke, your tour will return to Christchurch

The pools were exceptional and they have a beautiful star gazing tunnel as well as the rapids in the other pool that you can noodle down. Sunset from the top pool was spectacular. Unfortunately the experience of the staff at times appeared to be inadequate particularly when purchasing food and beverages. I waited 45 minutes for a burger, hardly a difficult thing to make. The beverage was not prepared correctly and I mentioned it to a staff member so they would know for the future. They were very arrogant and appeared to be inexperienced. gave me

We had an amazing trip to Opuke — the surrounding views are absolutely breathtaking. Our guide, Brad, was brilliant from start to finish. He even picked us up early so we could take in some truly spectacular spots along the way. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and friendly nature made the whole experience extra special. I would definitely recommend this trip (and Brad!) to anyone visiting the area — it was a real highlight of our travels.
Absolutely amazing watching the sunset and stars come out from our own hot pool- good unobtrusive service from staff for good and drinks (although there is a 2 drink maximum per person) There is an excellent area that allows children as well as an adult only area but the solo spa is an amazing experience for a couple wanting to just relax and look at the amazing night sky
Brad was a fantastic tour driver. He knew a lot about the area and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend him! The Opuke Thermal Pools were very enjoyable.

Wonderful place. Looks like a luxury spa. Lovely plantings, attractive pools. The lazy river was awesome, just to float around. Options to do the more affordable $32 for 2 hours. No chemicals. Sustainable. Lovely relaxing place - highly recommend!
