Messina tour Taormina,Savoca the Godfather,Castelmola and cannoli
Description
Savoca: we will stop for about 1 hour where we will visit the famous Vitelli bar and the church where some scenes of the famous film (The Godfather) with Al Pacino were filmed. Castelmola: another stop of about 1 hour where we will visit the cathedral, the panorama of Etna and the Turrisi bar. Taormina: we will visit the main street where we will stop for about 2 hours to visit the entire Corso Umberto, where there are many shops, characteristic alleys, beautiful views and, if you want, the ancient Greek theatre. There you can also taste typical local products and have a drink On the way back we will stop "at the balcony", where we can admire the beautiful panorama of Isola Bella and take some photos. Messina: we will stop at Cristo Re where we can admire the Strait of Messina. Depending on the time left, we will take you to taste one of these typical local products such as arancini, granita or cannoli offered by us, before concluding the visit to the cathedral with its beautiful astronomical clock.

Itinerary
Leaving from the port of Messina it takes about 50-60 minutes to get to Savoca. Savoca: we will stop for about 1 hour where we will visit small local shops, the famous Vitelli bar and the church where some scenes of the famous film (The Godfather) with Alpacino were filmed.
Castelmola, another stop of about 1 hour where we will visit the characteristic local shops, the cathedral, the panorama of Etna and the Turrisi bar where we can find particular themed items and enjoy a sip of almond wine.
In Taormina: we will visit the main street where we will stop for about 2 hours to visit the entire Corso Umberto, where there are many shops, characteristic alleys, beautiful views and, if you want, the ancient Greek theatre. There you can also taste typical local products and have a drink On the way back we will stop 'at the balcony', where we can admire the beautiful panorama of Isola Bella, we will stop for about 10 minutes just long enough to take some photos.
Messina: On the way back to Messina, we will stop at Cristo Re where we can admire the Strait of Messina. Depending on the time left, if you want, we will take you to taste one of these typical local products such as arancini, granita or cannoli offered by us, before concluding the visit to the cathedral with its beautiful astronomical clock.

Wonderful day exploring beautiful Sicily! Angelo was our driver and Alexandra our tour guide and they were a marvelous team! They tailored the timing to our cruise boat schedule and were prompt in pickup and delivered us back to port in plenty of time. We learned the history behind the sights we saw and were given ample time at each location. We even saw some fun, unexpected sights we would not have known about! Truly a pleasure!! Highly recommend!!

Highly recommend this tour! Angelo met us at the gate right outside the cruise ship and introduced us to Silvia our tour guide, who was fantastic. Our family of 9 was very comfortable in the private bus handily traversing Taormina, Castelmola, and Messina!! Silvia rearranged the schedule to best suit our needs!! We thoroughly enjoyed the shopping in Taormina and wish that we had several days to explore this beautiful historical town. Silvia guided us for much of the tour and we appreciated her knowledge and sweet personality. The almond wine and cannoli tasting in Castelmola was both delicious and most enjoyable. The pictures with Mount Etna and the view from the mountain top was spectacular! We ended the trip with the Duomo Cathedral and granita tasting!!

We were lucky enough to go on a field trip with Angelo and I can only say... wonderful! From the first moment he was super attentive, friendly and always with a smile. He didn’t put any glue on any change of plans, on the contrary, he gladly adapted! In addition, it had the detail of inviting us to try typical local food, which we did not expect and which made us feel even more welcome. I want to highlight especially how good a guide Angelo has been, not only has he made us a fantastic tour but he has taken us to taste typical food of the area, besides we traveled with children and tb we were on the beach, always with a smile and without rush waiting for our times, I loved it I recommend 1000 × 1000 , I do not think you can visit the island with a better guide , thank you very much for everything.
