We invite you to relive a part of Hawaiian History and walk in the footsteps of the Ali’i (Chief, Royalty) as you experience a traditional Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe Tour! Learn about the illegal occupation of Hawai'i and the overthrow of the Hawaiian Monarchy in 1893. Participate in traditional Hawaiian Chants (oli) as you paddle our canoe (hoe wa’a) along the south coast of Maui…breathtaking views of Haleakala, West Maui Moutains, Lana’i, Kaho’olawe/Kanaloa, and Molokini! Paddle our canoe to Turtletown off Wailea Point and see the honu and honu’ea (Hawaiian Green Sea & Hawksbill Turtles) that frequent this beautiful area! Swim with the turtles if you’d like or watch as they swim alongside the canoe!

When Hawaiian Ocean Sports cancelled our trip due to weather, staff member Donald verbally promised a refund for one member of our party who couldn't make the rescheduled date. I have this promise recorded in a voicemail. What followed was months of being ignored. After numerous unanswered emails, calls, and texts, I finally reached Donald by phone. He confirmed the refund had been processed and told me to expect it within seven days. That was 48 days ago. The refund has never arrived, and they have gone completely silent, no response to any form of contact since. This does not appear to be an isolated incident. A pattern of similar complaints exists across this site and others. Book elsewhere. The risk is not worth it.
Chris was a great tour guide, full of interesting history about the island and the area. We came close to several humpbacks and it was a beautiful morning!
My wife and I loved the outrigger canoe and snorkel tour! It was one of the highlights of our stay on Maui. Our guide was friendly and informative and provided a fascinating background on Polynesian history before we even got on the water. The outrigger canoe was a lot of fun to paddle on with simple instructions provided by our guide. We then got to enjoy time snorkeling among the reef and saw many turtles. The other guide swam with us and took amazing videos and pictures of us and the turtles! These pictures and videos were shared with us after we returned to the beach (no extra cost!). We would highly recommend this excursion!

Our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. He took us out to a great reef and were able to swim/snorkel with so many turtles. Our guide Alex even took photos/videos that he sent to me free of charge! Highly recommend
This is the best snorkeling I’ve ever done! Perfect amount of time and get to canoe as well. The guide is super nice and enhances the experience. Seeing sea turtles that close was amazing. Much better than the boat tour I did to the crater.
