At the Martha Brae Rafting Village, guests board a bamboo raft and enjoy a leisurely, relaxing, 60 min. float down the river. Each raft is steered by a skilled captain who will point out local flora and fauna along the way. The riverbanks are also dotted with local vendors selling crafts and souvenirs. The Martha Brae River in Trelawny offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the typical island hotspots. With its calm waters and lush surroundings, Martha Brae is a relaxing retreat for the entire family. A short drive from Montego Bay, the Martha Brae River has a rich history dating back to the colonial era. It is said to have been named after a legendary Taino woman who cursed the river, causing it to run backwards. Despite the folklore, the river flows smoothly and peacefully, attracting visitors from all over the world.

Pickup Locations & Times
Roundtrip private transportation is incorporated into price. Can accommodate up to 13 persons. Pick up will be the time you have selected for your excursion. Driver will reach out to confirm pick up time and instructions before heading out to pick you up. Please have the WhatsApp phone app downloaded for your convenience to make communication easier once you're on the Island between you and the driver. Transportation Only option is for Hotels ONLY in the Falmouth area, Excellence, Ocean Edan, Oyster Bay. Also Please know the option for food included is only for guest coming from Montego Bay area only as Scotchies is located in Montego Bay. (Guest staying in the Falmouth area we cannot bring you to Scotchies in Montego Bay then drive you back to the Falmouth area as that is a good 45 minutes outside of Montego Bay.

Highly recommend.. this tour was very beautiful. The scenery made for beautiful photographs and well worth the long bamboo ride down the river for 75min. This was a family trip and we all enjoyed ourselves.. our driver was great and very informative. Afterwards the family stopped at the restaurant as it was all included.. this was definitely a great package.

Where do I began, absolutely serene.. if you’re looking for relaxation with stunning scenery this is it.. beautiful stroll down the river for about an hour.. well worth the price. Our Driver was great. On time, professional and punctual. The best part was the food was included in our way back to the resort. Authentic Jamaican food.. loved it from start to finish. Definitely recommend. Lots of gorgeous pics
