Our guide, Inez was such fun. She took us to an artistic neighborhood with all sorts of options for food. She took us to her favorite places and offered history of the area as we walked along each progressive meal. We had cheese with 2 excellent wines, then a special pizza place (so yummy), then to a Mediterranean restaurant for vegetable dishes and a local drink. Then dessert at a unique ice cream shop. We left full and well entertained.
We had such a wonderful experience with Inez. Her knowledge of the food and area we visited was very interesting. Highly recommend.
Very fun way to see the city and enjoy its unique cuisine. Ines was a wonderful guide - very knowledgeable and engaging. We had a great time !
Our guide Laura was excellent, introducing us to the foods and wines in Marseille and sharing with us anecdotes on the areas we visited.
Our guide loves the area. It is an old art society. He encourages trying food you otherwise might not.
We had an amazing foodie experience with our tour guide Sophie. She brought us to 6 different places within a 1 mile circle and it’s some of the best food we’ve had so far. We local seafood cuisine, some sweet stuff and wine pairings. But it wasn’t just the food and wine that caught our attention, it was her attitude and caring towards us making sure cars stopped while we crossed and getting us seats in the shade and making the owners available for us if we had questions. It was a tour like no other. In addition to this at the end of the day she made sure that we got back to our ship in time by negotiating a taxi fare to make sure we did not scammed. All in all Sophie was a fabulous tour guide 5 stars all around.
Ines was a terrific guide! We had a cheese and wine tasting, and visited a few other restaurants with tapas-style dishes selected and explained by Ines. We were able to try many local dishes, and everything was delicious. Highly recommend.
