Overall, a solid tour. The transfer went smoothly and well, even though the pickup time was changed at short notice from 7:30 AM to 7:50 AM. Somewhat disappointing was that according to the booking information, a maximum of 10 people were supposed to participate; however, we were actually traveling in a coach with around 50 people. For this reason, the guide was often busy keeping the large group together in the narrow alleys. The tour was also conducted in German, French, and English, which made the explanations somewhat superficial, but this can ultimately also be attributed to the large group size. It is worth noting that the guide visibly made an effort and all important program points were included. Additionally, after lunch, there were still two hours of free time during which one could explore the city on their own.
Our guide was amazing, very hot so take suncream. Make sure you know how to haggle and beware of some of the traders majorly over charging. Out tour guide was sooooo nice and friendly. The restaurant we was taken too was a lovely roof top one. Keep an eye out for the people putting animals like moneys on you they will try and get a lot of money off you but only pay 10-20 dirham. All in all though it was an excellent day out.
The trip was amazing , and well organized Thanks to our guide . Very informative and helpful to , beat tour for people that wanna visit the city on one day trip .
Absolutely fantastic day!! Myself and partner went for the day. We were picked up from our hotel at 8am, bus journey was comfortable. Stopped for a comfort break and the wee driver and tour guide Akram were excellent. Arrived in Marrakesh and had a guided tour through the Medina which was excellent. Akram kept us informed . We stopped for Lunch then had nearly 3 hours to walk about and explore ourselves. We met at the pick up area then bus home to Agadir. Would highly recommend, really enjoyed it and felt safe at all times. A fantastic experience and excellent value for money. Thank you. 😊
Review – Day Trip from Agadir to Marrakech (via GetYourGuide) We booked a day trip from Agadir to Marrakech via GetYourGuide, but unfortunately this excursion was very disappointing. At 7.30 am we were picked up from our hotel. The transport turned out to be a large minibus with no significant suspension and virtually no legroom. The drive to Marrakech took more than 4.5 hours and was already quite exhausting due to the lack of comfort. The guide unfortunately spoke poor English, making explanations on the way and on the spot difficult to follow. Once in Marrakech we visited a “mosque” for which we had to pay 5 euros entrance. Later this turned out to be actually a Qur'anic school, so we did not see anything of a real mosque. Frankly, that felt a little misleading. Then we went to a tea shop where they mainly tried to sell oil and tea to our group. It felt more like a sales presentation than a cultural visit. Then the guide took us to a restaurant owned by someone he knew. The supposedly inexpensive dishes on the menu suddenly turned out to be unavailable. In the end, we left with two couples ourselves and went to another restaurant, where fortunately we did eat delicious. After dinner we had about an hour and a half to shop in the souk, which was nice and actually the only really positive moment of the day. The return trip to Agadir was unfortunately even harder than the outward journey. With just one half-hour break we had to spend more than 4.5 hours on the same bus again. The poor road comfort made us bounce in all directions – it almost felt like a mini version of the Paris-Dakar rally. Finally we arrived back at our hotel around 10 pm disillusioned and with painful bones. In short: Marrakech itself is beautiful and well worth a visit, but we absolutely do not recommend this particular day trip organization. The long journey, poor transport and commercial program unfortunately made this a disappointing experience.
Ik denk dat je enorm genoten hebt van de reis naar Marrakech. Ik weet eigenlijk niet waarom ik deze recensie heb geschreven. Met vriendelijke groeten
We were collected from the hotel in Agadir and greeted by hamsa, he was very knowledgeable and engaging. He was a really lovely guy to talk with and was happy to answer any questions. Had a few stops en route .. one to see the goats in an Aragon tree ! and one comfort break. We landed in Marrakesh by the mosque and were guided around this with a bit of history included. We then proceeded to the Jemaa el-Fnaa in the old town and toured the souk, not for the feint hearted, this was such an immersive trip, you can hardly take it all in, a brief stop to learn about Aragon oil then lunch at a rooftop restaurant, prices are very reasonable. Once we left here we were guided back to Jemaa el-Fnaa and had over an hour to explore on our own. The journey back also had a comfort break. This was a long day. 0730 start and back to the hotel around 2100, but we cannot fault the trip as a whole. Would recommend and has definitely sparked our curiosity to go back and explore further. Thankyou
Thank you for your support and you welcome for another Times
First off, it’s a really long drive (3-4 hours each way) and only about 5-6 hours in Marrakech. However, the drive was quite comfortable and our guide Majid (hope I spelled it right) told us a lot about Morocco on the way so it didn’t get dull and time went by fairly quickly. The time in Marrakech is not nearly enough to discover everything the city has to offer and you spend a lot of time inside the market (because wherever you want to go, the route seems to lead you through the market, which takes forever). Majid really tried to make the most of the short amount of time there, stopped at many points of interest and told us a lot about the city, and we still had sufficient free time to go out and explore on our own. All in all, I would’ve loved to have more time in Marrakech but I feel that we squeezed as much into those five hours as possible and seeing Marrakech for a short time is better than not seeing it at all. :)
Thank you for your support is great o from you give us a lot of energy for you give more and more
We went to Agadir in February 2025 for 3 weeks, which was our first time in Morocco. The hotel Dunes D'Or is situated right on the beach and it has it's own private are of beach for guests. The hotel is extremely clean and very well maintained. The restaurants are served by super waiters who are so friendly and experienced. The food is absolutely awesome with a huge variety so there is something for everyone. The pedestrian promenade, from the hotel, takes you to the beautiful marina which has lovely restaurants and independent shops. Anybody going to Agadir should visit what is sometimes called "The Big Souk!" It's an indoor market with apparently thousands of stalls selling absolutely everything! Every time we went we came back with more and more stuff! We booked a taxi with another couple and went on a city tour which was great. Well worth the 12 Euro. We found Agadir to be completely safe even at night. We loved it so much we're returning in a few weeks for another 3 week holiday at the same hotel.
Thank you so much for your support Thats great from you
We booked a day trip from Agadir to Marrakech and overall it was a great experience, though it is a very long day. Pickup was early in the morning, and the drive takes several hours, but the vehicle was comfortable and we had stops along the way to stretch our legs and grab refreshments. Once in Marrakech, the city was absolutely fascinating. We visited key highlights such as the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and explored the bustling souks. The guide was knowledgeable and explained the history and culture very well, which really added to the experience. Walking through Jemaa el-Fnaa was unforgettable – lively, colorful, and full of energy. Lunch was included at a local restaurant and was decent, with traditional Moroccan dishes. You should be aware that some stops involve shopping opportunities, which may feel a bit rushed or tourist-oriented, but they are easy to skip if you’re not interested. The return journey was tiring, arriving back in Agadir late in the evening, but we felt it was worth it to see such an iconic city in one day. If you don’t have time to stay overnight in Marrakech, this trip is a good option. Just be prepared for a long day and lots of walking. Recommended, especially for first-time visitors to Morocco.

Transfer not optimal, you have to endure the three hours of driving. Despite rain, an extraordinary event...
