The Blue Lagoon is Malta’s most famous swimming spot, with clear turquoise waters and a soft sandy seabed that looks like something out of a postcard. During our boat tour, we anchor in the bluest part of the lagoon—away from the busy crowds—so you can enjoy the peaceful beauty of this incredible place. You’ll have time to swim, snorkel, or simply relax on the boat and take in the stunning views. It’s the perfect stop to cool off and experience why the Blue Lagoon is such a must-see.
The Crystal Lagoon is a hidden treasure tucked beside Comino, known for its deep blue waters, dramatic cliffs, and peaceful atmosphere. Only accessible by boat, it's the perfect place to anchor and enjoy a more exclusive experience. With incredible underwater visibility, it’s one of the best spots around Malta for snorkelling and swimming straight off the boat. You’ll find yourself surrounded by nature, crystal-clear water, and the kind of serenity that’s hard to come by during a busy cruise stop.
L-Għar ta’ Bla Saqaf is one of Comino’s most iconic sea caves, known for its striking open ceiling and beautiful natural light. We’ll take the boat right inside the cave for a perfect photo opportunity, a fun photo shoot, or even a quick swim in the crystal-clear water. It’s a breathtaking stop that shows off the wild beauty of Comino from a unique perspective.
Popeye Village is one of Malta’s most charming sights—a colourful film set built for the 1980 musical Popeye, now perched above a stunning turquoise bay. The village, with its quirky wooden buildings and dramatic cliffs, looks like something out of a storybook. On our way, we’ll make a short 5-minute stop in front of the bay so you can snap a few photos of this beautiful location and the unique film set nestled by the sea. It’s a quick but memorable stop that adds a fun twist to your boat tour.
Comino is a small, peaceful island between Malta and Gozo, famous for its crystal-clear waters, rugged coastline, and hidden coves. With no cars and only a handful of buildings, it’s a quiet escape that feels like another world. On our boat tour, we cruise all the way around Comino, exploring its dramatic cliffs, sea caves, and untouched beauty. We stop in the bluest, clearest waters—far from the crowds—where you can swim, snorkel, and soak up the magic of this incredible island at your own pace.
Cominotto is a tiny island right next to the Blue Lagoon, and it’s one of the most beautiful spots in the area. Surrounded by crystal-clear blue waters, it’s perfect for snorkelling and capturing stunning photos. The shallow, vibrant sea around Cominotto makes it feel like you’re swimming in a natural pool, with amazing visibility and colourful marine life. It’s a must-see highlight during our stop at the Blue Lagoon, offering a peaceful and unforgettable experience just a short swim or boat drift away.
Cominotto Reef is a beautiful shallow reef located near the tiny island of Cominotto, right by the famous Blue Lagoon. With clear turquoise waters and a white sandy seabed, it's an ideal spot for snorkelling. The reef is full of interesting rock formations and marine life, making it perfect for both beginners and experienced snorkellers. The calm, shallow conditions allow you to float easily while exploring the underwater scenery in a safe and peaceful setting. It’s one of the hidden gems we pass during the tour, offering a truly relaxing snorkelling experience.
St Agatha’s Tower, also known as the Red Tower, is a striking 17th-century fortress perched on the Marfa Ridge in Mellieħa. Overlooking Għadira Bay and with panoramic views toward Comino and Gozo, it was built by the Knights of St John to defend Malta’s northern coast. During our tour, we’ll stop for 5 minutes to admire the scenery and snap some great photos of this impressive medieval landmark.
Santa Marija Bay is a peaceful, sheltered cove on Comino with clear shallow waters and a small sandy beach. Surrounded by nature and far from the crowds, it’s a lovely spot to relax. If conditions allow, we may stop here for a refreshing swim in the calm, turquoise sea.
Hondoq Bay is a hidden gem on Gozo’s southern coast, known for its crystal-clear waters, white rocks, and peaceful surroundings. It’s a favourite local spot for swimming and snorkelling. We’ll make a short 5-minute stop here to enjoy the stunning views and snap some beautiful photos of this quiet, unspoiled bay.
Elephant Head Rock is a unique natural formation on Comino’s rugged coastline that strikingly resembles an elephant’s head dipping into the sea. As we cruise past, you’ll have a chance to admire this fun and fascinating rock shape—perfect for a quick photo from the boat as we continue our tour.
The Santa Marija Caves are a stunning series of sea caves along Comino’s coastline, famous for their clear waters and dramatic rock formations. These caves are a favourite for snorkellers and divers thanks to their underwater tunnels and rich marine life. During our tour, we’ll pass by or enter some of the caves by boat, giving you a close-up view of this natural wonder and a chance to snap some incredible photos.

Great communication and excellent swimming stop. Traveled with family of 5. 20 people total in our group.
This is exactly what is says. The guide was great actually impressive that he did everything on his own. the water was really cold in the high 60's but worth getting cold to see such greatness. Would highly recommend.
An absolutely outstanding day out! Pickup was smooth in direct contact with the captain all though. Boat was spotless, plenty of space for 12 of us and we had plenty of shade as well as sundecks. The tour around Comino is a beautiful trip and the whole afternoon was tailored to what we wanted to do. We were on a stag weekend and the captain, Deni was fun, very understanding and easy going and let us get on and have fun; just guided us to what was safe and what wasn’t. The cool-box was a godsend as well!! Overall, hugely recommended and great value for money as well. I think it cost us about €25 each for just over 3 hours.
This was a great price point for a big family to have a private tour. Also, all communication was professional and kept us informed every step of the way.
Beautiful boat ride. Loved swimming in the water. I did know about the 29 euros but this was still expensive for gas for the boat.
Malta is beautiful and we enjoyed our drive to the marina. And the blue lagoon was also very nice (be sure to go into the long cave). The boat was underwhelming at best however. And the snorkel gear was not good at all (bring your own). The driver was very nice, but the language difficulties resulted in is waiting around for 20 minutes or more after the trip for our driver to arrive -- because the boat dropped us at a different dock and he did not let the driver know. Maybe it was ok for the price, but we would look for a better option next time even at a higher cost.
Thank you for your feedback 😊 We’re really glad to hear you enjoyed Malta, the Blue Lagoon, and especially the caves — it’s definitely one of the highlights! Regarding the drop-off, the wind direction changed last minute on the day, so for safety and comfort we had to dock on the south side instead of the north side. These decisions can happen quite suddenly, and while the driver did come over to the other side, it can take a few extra minutes, which explains the short wait. We appreciate your Feedback!!
The trip was incredible. Everything ran according to the agreed schedule. For anyone going on a cruise and with limited time, I highly recommend it. Everything was well organized: the transportation from the cruise ship to the boat, the tour itself, and the return trip. Captain Chris was very attentive. He noticed that we were traveling as a family and tailored the route accordingly. If we ever come back, we will definitely do it again.
Experience 100% recommended!! They communicate with you at all times and explain everything, making it very easy. The driver Jonatan was very professional and punctual, everything was perfect. The captain Deni was very kind and fun, giving recommendations and making the experience very enjoyable. Without a doubt, I would do it again!! We loved it!!
Fantastic Just Fantastic I don't speak English and everything went very well just thank you
Horrible from the beginning. Picked up by the wrong van, to too many people in a small boat. Not enough life jackets, did not check tickets or names, no safety briefing, snorkel gear dirty and not enough and was dropped off at a different pickup spot.
Hi Janna! This is Janet, sorry to read your review. I do feel this it is unfair to request a full refund and when that is not granted, to leave a 1-star review. For everyone reading here: to clarify, there are life jackets and snorkel masks available for all guests on board. Life jackets are not mandatory to wear, but you are always welcome to use one — ask the captain at any time. Regarding the route, the tour by boat started from North Quay in Ċirkewwa, however due to a change in wind conditions, the drop-off was at South Quay. This is still the same port, just on the opposite side, and only a few minutes’ walk but that was not needed since the taxi just came to the new spot. This is something beyond our control and does not affect the tour experience. The boat used is licensed and safe for up to 20 passengers, and your group of 16 was well within capacity. We always aim to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests.
