Built during the time of Grand Master Pinto, this area comes alive at night, attracting Maltese and tourists alike to its many bars and restaurants. Some free time will be given. Discover Rabat in the centre of the island and walk along its narrow winding streets before reaching Mdina, Malta’s Silent old Capital City – at night a mysterious city which looks so different from what it looks like during the day. A city of palaces and churches, once only inhabited by noblemen, its history goes back to the times of the Phoenicians, the Romans, the Normans, and the Knights of St John. From the ramparts of Mdina you will be able to see practically half the island sparkling in front of you.

Awful, avoid this trip, waste of money. 25 minutes late on pick up in an old ford transit van, more suitable on building site than to collect passengers. Taken to Valletta to pick up coach to go to Valletta waterfront. Free time to go to toilet only, There is no free time to eat or anytime to yourself to go and walk around other than follow the tour guide on the tour. Back on coach to Mdina, only saw Rabat via coach window, again no time to discover or walk along its streets as advertised. When we arrived at Mdina, tour guide was knowledgeable, but tour is long. If you have walking difficulties, this trip is definitely not for you. Our bus home, was again the old transit van, driver was a lunatic, but as her drove within the speed limit when we complained to the tour guide we were told " this was ok"
Very well organized tour. Guide who speaks fluent English and Italian. Walking tour through the main places, always with a guide.

To grasp the pulse of Malta,it is necessary to wander at night along the seafront,when everything is lit and Maltese gather and sit in bars and guinguettes to live moments of joy,even if they are noisy!.. Then continue walking in the alleys of Rabat, then Mdina nicknamed "City of Silence" (a striking contrast after the bustling e Grand Port of Valletta!), overlooking the blonde stone facades, the doors with magnificent old fittings, the bow windows of all colors... A beautiful walk that allows us to see another face of Malta!

Do not trust what is advertised: the buildings are very poorly lit and in Mdina , there are no lanterns in the streets , only big spotlights.... Very disappointing for about thirty euros....overpriced.

In fact we do not really see the night vallet but only the waterfront which is not really of interest! for the rest of the tour, the guide gave very few anecdotes, historical details to flap and mdina. A visit finally expensive for what we see! To avoid
