ISLAND TOUR is the best day out in Mallorca: ride the Soller train, take a boat along the coastline, visit La Calobra and enjoy a tram ride as you witness Mallorca's beautiful landscapes. A highlight of the tour if you are from the north area pick-ups is stopping at La Calobra emblematic "Nudo de la Corbata" road, where you’ll have the chance to take some photos and enjoying a drink in the picturesque surroundings from the heights. In case of being from the south area pick-ups, we'll enjoy 40 minutes in Lluc. In both cases, we'll explore the Calobra beach and its crystal-clear waters. Next stop by boat will be the charming coastal village of Port Soller, enjoy lunch at your leisure, and then hop aboard the local tram for a picturesque ride to Soller, where your guide will take you through the village's highlights. Finally, sit back and unwind on the vintage wooden train as you enjoy breathtaking views of the Soller Valley's lush agricultural fields on your way to Son Reus.

When you are on Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands, head out on this guided sightseeing day trip to discover the beauty of the island. Get comfortable aboard an air-conditioned coach and while your guide explains interesting facts about the island, enjoy spectacular views of the Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed mountain range. We begin our excursion by entering The Serra de Tramuntana on coach, which is the backbone of Mallorca. A natural beauty nourished by culture, traditions and a strong identity, where the first travellers to enjoy the island arrived in the 19th century. Its extremes, Formentor to the northeast and La Trapa to the southwest, are separated by some 90 kilometres, along which you will find numerous viewpoints, turquoise blue beaches and stone villages that are well worth a visit.
Enjoy the coach journey as you get to travel through this beautiful stretch of the mountain roads with the guides explanations about all the different points we will come across such as Lluc Monastery, the Puig Mayor, the Torrente de Pareis stream. During this part of the trip you will have the opportunity to see one of Europe's most spectacular roads, the one that leads to Sa Calobra. The road to Sa Calobra has a total of 13 kilometres and it was built in 1932 and as we go down it you will experience a unique view of the surroundings.
Admire breathtaking views of the rock formations on the west coast of Mallorca as you head down a windy road to La Calobra. Here, you have free time to explore the village, grab a snack in one of the small cafes around the port (own expense) or relax by the breathtaking beach. By walking through the expectacular mountain tunnel, you will be able to visit the beautiful "Torrente de Pareis" which is another part of the beach at Sa Calobra.
The Torrent de Pareis was formed in the middle of the Tramuntana mountain range thousands of years ago, a canyon more than 3 kilometres long that runs between gorges until it reaches the famous cove of Sa Calobra. This gorge of limestone rocks, was forged over time by the erosive action of torrential water. It has now become a real focal point for sporting activities due to the formations and for it´s absolutely breathtaking views!
The next part of the tour begins as we board a modern boat for a 40 minute ride. This boat trip will take us from Sa Calobra to the Port of Soller, as we pass by the coast you will witness Mallorca's beauty in a way that will exceed your expectations. Observing from out at sea ancient defensive towers, coves, cliffs, marine caves and small islands. These are images you will keep with you forever!
Once we arrive into the Port of Soller it will be time to take the Soller tram. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes and ends at Soller's classic railway station in Soller Town. During this ride we will go through orchards full of lemon and orange trees which is Soller's most famous landscape and the tram will take us straight through the town itself.
Once we arrive at the beautiful town of Soller by tram from Puerto Soller we will have time for a short visit around its charming historical centre before we board the famous Soller wooden train. We will follow the original journey which has barely changed in its 100 years of operation.
The highlight of this Mallorca Island Tour for many is the train ride. This experience will be the finishing touch that will make you fall completely in love with the island. You will board Soller's world famous wooden train which was built in 1912. The train crosses Soller's valley as it goes through various tunnels giving us priveledged views of the valley as we reach the town of Bunyola and we stop to get off at the Son Reus station. There our coach will be awaiting us to take us back to where we began the tour earlier in the day.

- The excursion starts in Palma at 9:30 AM. We offer a free optional round-trip transfer service from various resorts (Playa de Palma, Arenal, Magaluf, Santa Ponsa, Paguera, and Can Pastilla) to the departure point in Palma. This saves you from having to take a taxi or public transport. Alternatively, you can make your own way to the meeting point in Palma.
- VERY IMPORTANT-• Please at the time of the booking write the hotel name in observations. The pick up point for the tour is confirmed to you after you have made your booking. We will pick you up at your hotel or at a nearby point. Once booked please go to the section CONTACT OPERATOR and ask for your pick up details. It needs to be 24 hours in advance
- The tour is subject to train and boat timetables, so the itinerary may occasionally run in reverse order.
- The route passes through mountainous areas. In case of road closures or adverse conditions, the guide may adjust the itinerary or stops accordingly.
- If the boat ride to Sa Calobra is cancelled, instead of taking the bus down to Sa Calobra, we will go directly to Port de Sóller by bus and enjoy a boat ride around the bay there. This change prevents long waiting times in Sa Calobra (until 13:30) and avoids missing the tram ride in Sóller due to road restrictions.

Most of the excursion is sitting on a bus, boat or riding on the train. Very little time to wander and explore.
Thank you for your review. The Island Tour is designed to showcase as much of Mallorca as possible in a single day by combining several modes of transport: coach, boat, tram and the historic train. Travelling between the different locations is therefore an essential part of the experience, allowing guests to enjoy some of the island's most spectacular scenery without having to drive themselves. At the same time, there is also free time to explore: around 30 minutes at Lluc Monastery, approximately 90 minutes in Sa Calobra, 15 minutes in Port de Sóller and around 40 minutes in Sóller. During the train and boat journeys you're also free to move around, admire the views and, on the historic train, many guests enjoy standing on the open rear platform to fully experience the journey. An interesting tour that was well-organized throughout. Our guide Pepe had interesting information about the places visited and about Mallorca. Unfortunately, he had to repeat everything in 3 languages because the participants came from 3 countries, and that left less time for details or questions. Overall, we can recommend the tour.

1913 vintage train, the journey through the mountains to Solers was great. Boat crossing was fine but no comments. Too bad there are too many people, the cove is polluted by people and boats.

Operator wasn’t aware of timing of our return and we had go skip half the trip to get back to our cruise even though before booking we made sure all timings were discussed with booking company There are several subcontractors so no means of communication between them
We are very disappointed by this review because it does not reflect what actually happened. You state that we gave you the wrong return time. In reality, you yourself did not know your cruise departure time. During the day you mentioned different times—first 5:30 pm, then 5:00 pm, and finally it turned out your ship departed at 4:30 pm. Had our driver not taken the time to verify the actual departure time, you would almost certainly have missed your cruise. Once we realised the situation, we organised a separate vehicle exclusively for you so you could return directly to the cruise port. This service was not included in the excursion and was provided solely to help you, even though the situation resulted from incorrect information about your own cruise schedule, not from our tour. We could simply have told you to take a taxi, as many companies would have done. Instead, we went out of our way to make sure you got back to your ship on time. It is therefore very disappointing to read a review blaming our company for a problem that was not of our making, especially after making such an exceptional effort to assist you. We even have an audio recording in which you acknowledge that the confusion about the cruise timing came from your side. We will always do everything possible to help our guests, but we also believe that our efforts deserve to be recognised fairly.

What a fabulous day! Great way to see Mallorca. Pepe was a very knowledgeable guide & I loved learning about Mallorca. Great scenery on the road up to Monastery & passing thru several villages. Loved Sa Colabra & boat ride along the coast. I would have liked to spend more time in Soller, but it was already a long day. This tour is a must! It is breathtaking! The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 stars it’s because I would definitely extend this tour. You need a good 2 hrs extra. To savour the moment in Soler and where we take the tram too. But the rest it’s is just beautiful you will not regret this tour

As the train operates on fixed departure times, the entire itinerary has to be carefully coordinated around it, which means extending the stay in Sóller would require removing time from other parts of the excursion. The purpose of this tour is to offer a complete overview of Mallorca's most spectacular landscapes and transport experiences in a single day, including the mountain roads, Sa Calobra, the boat trip, the tram and the historic train. If you would like a more relaxed experience with longer free time in Mallorca's most beautiful villages, you might also enjoy our Valldemossa and Sóller Tour, which focuses on spending more time exploring these charming locations at a slower pace.
