Description

This is fan making, a traditional Japanese culture that has continued since the Heian period. You will choose a design paper with your favorite pattern and coat a white fan. We use a special patented solvent, so you can rest assured that it will not yellow or peel off. This is the only course that is not offered elsewhere. Japanese patterns are also available. Men can also enjoy this class. Finally, crystals (Swarovski) are added for a touch of glamour. It is not only for use as a fan to look up to, but also as a beautiful interior decoration for your room. It is perfect for use as a fan for yourself or as a souvenir. *Flupage uses a patented special solvent distinct from decoupage, preventing yellowing or peeling. We will introduce the method in a video that is easy to understand even for beginners. *** A cup of coffee is included. ** We will have lessons at a cafe just a 2-minute walk from the JR Keihin Tohoku Line Tokyu Oimachi Line

Nice teacher but disappointing workshop

The teacher is very nice and helpful, really a pleasant person. Unfortunately, however, the course does not meet expectations: it is not a real fan making workshop, but rather a decoupage activity on ready-made fans. I thought I'd learn how to build a fan from scratch, but instead you just decorate it. Overall it was a nice experience, but a bit poor in content and different from what was advertised.

Operator response

Thank you for your review. We checked the difference in lesson content that you pointed out, but as stated in the lesson description, the workshop consists of attaching design paper to a fan, so there was no difference. We apologize if we caused any misunderstanding. We will add a note to the lesson description to make it clearer. We are glad that you were satisfied with the instructor and the lesson overall.

It was a great memory with a friend!

I was worried that I would be able to make it properly, but they taught me very clearly and carefully, and I was able to have fun. It was a very good memory for me with my friends.

Operator response

Thank you for participating with your friend. You may have been nervous at first, but I am happy that both of you created wonderful works. Get through the hot summer with your one-of-a-kind fan. Thank you for participating.
