Our Florence and Pisa excursion had the potential to be an amazing experience because both destinations are absolutely beautiful and filled with history, culture, and incredible sights. Florence was breathtaking, and seeing the famous landmarks was truly special. Pisa was also a wonderful place to visit, and seeing the Leaning Tower in person was a memorable moment. However, the biggest disappointment was the limited amount of time we were given in each location. There was simply not enough time to properly explore, take in the beauty, enjoy the atmosphere, or fully appreciate everything these incredible places have to offer. We felt rushed throughout the day, which took away from what could have been a truly unforgettable experience. With more time in both Florence and Pisa, this excursion would have been absolutely outstanding. These cities deserve the opportunity to be enjoyed at a more relaxed pace.
This was a very unprofessional tour though the tour guide himself was fine. First, we were short two seats on the bus. One passenger had to sit in the jump seat next to the driver. The driver had to sit on the floor for the almost 5 hr drive. Second, you had to walk an additional 3 1/2 miles round trip in Florence just to get to the start is the tour or pay a taxi which we did. Also in Pisa, had they not added a trolley at the last minute , you were expected to walk another 1 1/2 miles round trip to the start of the tour. Due to the poor logistics, we had little time in both places. I have done numerous Viator tours and this one was the most disappointing.

Telling you honestly, during 27 years spent in this field and having dealt with all kinds of feedback, this is the first time I have heard about a driver sitting on the floor and driving for five hours. OMG!!! 😄 I love this job !!! 😄 May I ask whether you replaced the driver? As our entire team is puzzled trying to imagine him driving from the floor. We asked him as well; but he denies it - we are considering using a lie detector. 😄 The person who was sitting on the fold-out crew seat, designed by German Setra coach engineers, and whom you referred to as a “passenger”, was actually our tour coordinator taking his usual seat. 😄 As for the walking part, please note that the centers of Florence and Pisa are not accessible by tourist transport; therefore, all guests, without exception, have to use their feet. By the way, the “Additional Information” section of this tour description clearly states that this tour is not recommended for people with limited walking abilities. When booking future activities through Viator, we highly recommend paying at least some attention to the tour description. And please always have your driver’s license with you. We may need your assistance anytime our drivers decide to leave their seats for the floor. 😄😄😄 You made my day!!!! Safe and happy travels!
