Another new famous site in Northern Vietnam is Pu Luong Nature Reserve – a village home of the White Thai, Black Thai, and Muong Ethnic Minority communities. The scenery is well-known for large rice terraces and floating clouds like Sapa but much less touristic. This is a great location for hiking and trekking through the forest and experience the simple life.

Our local guide, proficient in English, served as a knowledgeable companion, sharing insights into the daily lives of the locals and their resourceful utilization of the land's offerings. This immersive experience provided a profound understanding of the region's rich cultural tapestry, leaving us with a deeper appreciation for its authenticity.
The landscape is truly breathtaking, and my guide was exceptionally kind. The leisurely walk offered a chance to immerse ourselves in the charm of rural life, which proved to be utterly fascinating. It was a wonderful opportunity to gain further insight into their traditions and customs.
Just 3 stars because the schedule has changed and nobody tells you. They don't pick you up from your Hotel, You are not staying in Eco garden and therefore there is no infinity pool. You don't stop at Thung Khe Pass. Other places are respected but not in the same order. Pu Luong is still a beautiful reservoir with few tourists which is very nice!
