So not much into art but after visiting reina, the art of dali, miro and picasso was superb
Dear Tyson U, Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your visit to the Reina Sofia Museum and had the opportunity to appreciate the incredible artworks by Dali, Miro, and Picasso. It is great to know that the experience made such a positive impression, even for someone not usually into art. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
This audio tour describes about a dozen art works but many of them are not on display in the museum. The tour even directed me to a museum room number that does not exist. You have to download an app, establish sign in credentials and log in to then download the audio tour. You can easily purchase an audio tour at the museum that is on a hand held device that includes interactive maps and more comprehensive descriptions. This tour should be removed from TripAdvisor.
Dear Rich V, Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to hear that you had a nice time during your visit. At the same time, we are sorry to hear that the audio tour did not fully meet your expectations. The audio guide is designed to provide detailed information and highlight key artifacts to enhance the overall experience. We truly appreciate your feedback & we will try to improve the same for future.
The museum has some interesting pieces. Perhaps the most famous is Picasso Guernica. The reason for the low star rating is that I had purchased a flex ticket with audio. What was not crystal clear was the multiple pages that I had to read in order to download first the audio app before I could listen to it, which of course, when you get to the museum is unable to do so. There is no reason that should be so difficult. It should be on page one with instructions. Click here before entry to download the audio portion.
Dear Karen P, Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your visit and found the museum collection interesting. We are sorry to hear about the confusion regarding the digital audio guide access. Upon reviewing, we found that the instructions for accessing and downloading the audio guide are included within a dedicated page of the PDF shared along with the tickets prior to the visit. However, we understand that these instructions could make the process easier and more convenient for guests. We truly appreciate your feedback and will help improve the overall experience for future visitors.
Great efficient way to get in to see the Guernica! we did not end up using the audio guide, but I’m sure that would’ve definitely added if we had had time!
