Madrid Highlights Running Tour

Description
Welcome to this personal running tour of Madrid. Our guides all have great knowledge and experience of Madrid and we will take you on a running guide tour around the centre of Madrid. We will cover most of the main attractions during our run and this will also give you a great overview of Madrid and how the city is laid out. This is great if you want to continue exploring on your own later during your stay. The tour also covers areas of history, day to day life in Madrid, great restaurants and bars. You have the chance to ask us for recommendations and tips on how to make your stay in Madrid as memorable as possible. At some attractions we will do a full stop for your guide to give you some information as well as having time to take some photos. The tour guide will also point out additional sights etc. during the run between the stops. We will run as fast as the slowest member of the group.

Coin was an amazing guide. we had the best tine exploring Madrid with her. She was knowledgeable and passionate about the city. The run was fabulous and we went at our pace.
I arrived in Madrid on a hotter than normal May afternoon. It was also very crowded. It was challenging to not feel stifled. The next day, the running tour day, everything was better. My friendly, knowledgeable guide was Robert. He met me at 7:30am. It felt cool and hardly anyone was around. We proceeded to have the most enjoyable run. Robert had a plethora of interesting information on each sight. I also loved during our run how he would guide running directions. So smooth! So easy to follow! I never came to an "oops, thought we were going left" or anything like that. The run caused me to have a great vibe the whole day. The temp was higher than the day before but it didn't bother me. After, exploring more was easy because I had been shown the layout. This tour was so worth it for me. Best thing I did in Madrid.
I enjoyed the running tour with John so much! It’s such a great way to start the morning, before the city wakes up and the crowds get out. We passed by a lot of the famous spots and John also took me through some streets to show places that tourists won’t know about. Highly recommend to any runners visiting Madrid!
Easy and fast way to kickstart your day and hitting all of Madrid's highlights. Best the crowds and get your exercise while learning about the beautiful city of Madrid.
Definitely recommend the running tour as your first experience in a new city. It gives you a general layout while meeting like minded people. My tour guide was excellent and welcomed all my questions, and if she didn't know then she googled for me. Sorry I forgot her name Amti/UTI?? from the Dominican Republic.
I had an incredible experience on the Madrid Running Tour with Robert as my guide. We covered about 5 miles, taking in the stunning sights and sounds of the city. Robert was not only a knowledgeable guide but also a great running companion. He shared interesting stories and facts about each landmark, making the miles fly by. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore Madrid in a unique and active way!
John was the perfect running guide. He let me set the pace and, as he got to know me, pointed out a lot of things I didn’t see on past trips. It felt like a unique experience, built around my interests and running ability. If you’re heading to Madrid, pack a pair of running shoes and sign up for a tour.
It was great tour to know about Madrid. After the guid you felt easy to get anywhere you want. And feeling good to see morning sunrise and no cloud city to run. You can start the day feeling so good, I think. The guid was nice and this tours Horner Ulrik was so responsible person. When I got lost at the meeting point, he helps me a lot. Thank you so much.
I went on two private, 10K running tours of Madrid with John W on back-to-back mornings and they were great! John was very knowledgeable, altered the two routes so I saw different things, and stayed at my (relatively slow) pace. It was a great way to see and learn about Madrid on my first visit and it kept me going because I'm training for my first marathon. I also did a LocalRunGuide run in Barcelona, which was very good.
Robert was an excellent guide. Knowledgeable, articulate, and personable. Being a Monday, the streets were not very crowded and we could make our way through the city easily. Great way to start the day and learn about a new location.
