- We offer free pick up and drop off in the Funchal area in a 2km range from our sales point , for pickup's outside this areas please contact us. - Pick up inside the cruise Port/Dock of Funchal only with 24h advance notice and an extra payment of €6 per vehicle (Madeira Port Rules and Laws) that can to be payed to the driver. - Minimum 2 passengers per tour. - Children under 3 years old can only travel on baby Sling/Pouch. - Due to vehicle restrictions , it’s not allowed people over 110kg. - Tickets , entries or experiences in public or private spaces are not included in the tour price. - MadTuk staff and vehicles are always identified and will never ask for any tour payment , cancellation or any different service other the one that was booked , except if its your wish to extend , modify your tour or due to weather conditions.

Tuk Tuk trip 3rd April 2026 Funchal We had a very informative tuk tuk driver who was able to access areas larger vehicles would not have been able to. Our driver, Bruno Costa, gave a constant commentary throughout our trip. He also offered to take photos of us at viewing points and recommended where to walk to once our journey had ended.
It was quick tour of some of the important parts of the city. Gives you an idea of where you would like to explore in more detail later. Enjoyed the ride around the city and the guide was quite informative.
Very nice tour, our guide Bruno was nice and knowledgeable. It was a nice short tour to see some of the cities sites.
Bruno gave us an excellent overview of Funchal, its history and its people in our one hour tour. He was very engaged.

Don't expect Viator to update tickets if the time of your booking gets changed during chats with operator via Viator. Booked for 1130, operator said 1030 was available and stated see you at 1030. But ticket later came through as 1130 and silly me assumed that was what I had a reservation for contractually. Well not the case apparently- missed 1030 tour. I asked for 50% refund which was rejected by operator. Not happy with Viator either.
We’re sorry for your not so good experience with Viator bookings . We as a supplier provide the service and the driver and vehicle were at the designated pick up point by the client at the scheduled time , the driver waited 45 min and did send several messages to both provider and client , as you can understand the booking spot , as the vehicle and driver has costs so it’s understandable that cannot be refunded a service that was ready but the client did not attended.
