Madeira Dolphin & Whale Watching Tour

The tour itself was very good; we saw many dolphins, a sea turtle, and flying fish, but unfortunately no whale that day. It was still a very nice experience with friendly staff from Ventura. I would particularly like to highlight the customer service of the company: I accidentally booked the wrong time for the tour, then canceled it, and rebooked the correct time. Both tours were charged closely to Tripadvisor; since the booking was made at short notice, the 24-hour deadline for a full refund could not be met. Thanks to the friendly support from Ventura, I was able to receive a full refund, which was truly a great effort. I would book the company again at any time.

Great experience- saw 2 whales (Blainville’s beaked whale and Short finned pilot whale) and lots of Atlantic Dolphins. As it’s a ribbed boat recommend you take a cover up as gets cold when going at speed. Great female guide who explained everything well (sorry can’t remember her name). Really enjoyed it. Great Fun on the boat. They recommend you sit at the back if you have neck or back problems

Don't bring a hat unless you can tie it on! A really good outing - warn, helpful, knowledgeable guide and driver, and we saw dolphins. No whales but still good value.

We had a great trip this morning with skipper Cristiano and the cetacean biologist expert Julia. They were both wonderful and experts in their roles. Julia was very attentive, knowledgeable and enthusiastic, as we all were when they spotted two different species of whales and a large pod of dolphins. They were very respectful of animal welfare and nature. The boat was was well maintained, safe and we had a wonderful morning. Highly recommended. Thanks you guys.

Was afraid there will be nothing to watch, but our guide managed to take to the right spots and there many dolphins and whales to watch, plus a bonus sea turtle! Great tour

A beautiful experience. Our guide was very enthusiastic and incredibly touching; she seemed like a child, so happy to see the animals. We saw a turtle, a Bryde's whale (which unfortunately dove every 3 breaths for only 10 long minutes). There were also dolphins. The boat does not get too close, out of respect for the animals. It was very nice.

Me and my husband said This was the highlight of my whole day! Very friendly and amazing crew by Julia and Christiano. Dolphins gave us a show and the captain gave us a show at the very end :)
