Itinerary
For your convenience, hotel pickup is included. Please provide your hotel details in advance to ensure a smooth and timely pickup from your accommodation in Cusco. Pickup starts very early in the morning to allow enough time for the journey. You will travel by vehicle for approximately 2 hours from your hotel in Cusco to the train station in Ollantaytambo, passing through part of the Sacred Valley on the way.
On arrival in Aguas Calientes, you will take a bus up the mountain to the Machu Picchu archaeological site.
From Ollantaytambo, you will board the train to Aguas Calientes (also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo).
At Machu Picchu, you will meet your professional guide and begin a guided tour of approximately 2.5 hours. During the visit, you will explore the main sectors of the citadel and learn about its history and significance.
After the tour, you will take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes, then board the train back to Ollantaytambo. At Ollantaytambo station, transportation will be waiting to drive you back to your hotel in Cusco.

Wow, what an amazing experience and tour guide. Our other tour got cancelled two days before and we didn’t think there was a chance we could find anything else decent. Well, we were wrong! Our tour guide, Samuel, was extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and friendly. I can’t imagine having had a better experience with our initial tour company. Highly recommend especially if you want to learn about Machu Picchu and its history in detail from a local.
I was very satisfied. It was all very organized. There was assistance from the agency at all transport connections as well as at the entrance to Machu Picchu archaeological park. The guide Miguel made an excellent presentation at each point of the route, which was the circuit 1, with a panoramic view of the city. Don't go into town. The guide took care to complement the presentations with a photo album to better illustrate the information. Despite the organization of the tour, there was a 3 hour delay in the return due to the train company. Even so, the agency's guides provided the necessary assistance. Therefore, I recommend not taking the tour if you consider a possible delay in returning to Cusco. I emphasize that the tour requires a certain conditioning of the participants.

Roy, our guide was super fun and chill except for sometimes he would leave me and my friends behind and had to find them. But overall experience was good. He’s a great photographer and gives a history of Machu Picchu.
