The 4 days jungle to Machu Picchu were unforgettable. Waskar took the time for us and the kids. He told personal stories, showed the children a lot of fruit and plants and was genuinely interested in us and has a real passion for his country and the Incas. If you’re lucky enough to have Waskar as your guide on the Inca Trail, you’re in for an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived in Cusco, he went above and beyond to make our trip special, even arranging our airport pickup. During the ten days we spent in Cusco, he made us feel like family. His passion for Inca history, culture and traditions brought every site to life. The Inca Trail was one of the most challenging hikes we’ve ever done, but Waskar encouraged us every step of the way. His kindness, patience and positive attitude kept everyone motivated. He also captured beautiful photos of our journey and we loved spotting colorful birds along the trail, especially the hummingbirds. We enjoyed our experience so much that we booked several more tours with his company, including the Sacred Valley, Vinicunca, white-water rafting, zip-lining, mountain biking and horseback riding. Seeing Waskar participate in the Inti Raymi Festival of the Sun was another unforgettable highlight of our trip. Thank you Waskar, for making our Peru adventure so memorable.
