CONTACT US FIRST TO MAKESURE AVAILABLE ENTRANCE TICKETS FOR MACHU PICCHU Itinerary - AM pick up from the Hotel and transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo (1 hour and 30 min ride) - AM we will board the train to go to Machu Picchu town - Once you arrive to Machu Picchu town, your guide will be waiting for you then you will walk 5 min to the bus station where we take the bus up to Machu picchu archeological site with a 25-minute ride. - Upon your arrival, you will participate in a guided tour of the Citadel, approximately 3 hours. -At a safe time we will take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes. -PM in the afternoon we will board the train to return to Ollantaytambo - Where our transportation will be waiting for you to bring you back to Cusco Hotel

"Our private van will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and take you on a comfortable drive through the picturesque Sacred Valley to the train station in Ollantaytambo. Along the way, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of Andean landscapes, traditional villages, and towering mountain peaks.
Once we arrive at the station, you’ll board a scenic train that offers stunning panoramic views as it winds along the Urubamba River toward Machu Picchu Town (Aguas Calientes). During the journey, you can relax and take in the lush cloud forest, rugged cliffs, and the first glimpses of the mystical Machu Picchu region.
Upon arrival at Machu Picchu Town (Aguas Calientes), your expert guide will be waiting just outside the train station, holding a sign with your name for easy identification. After a warm welcome, we’ll take a short walk through this charming town to the bus station. From there, you’ll board a comfortable bus for a scenic 30-minute ride up the winding mountain roads, surrounded by lush cloud forest and breathtaking views of the towering Andes.
As we approach the entrance to the legendary Machu Picchu archaeological site, also known as the "Lost City of the Incas," you’ll have the opportunity to explore one of its three official circuits. Each circuit offers a unique perspective of this ancient wonder, showcasing its stunning architecture, breathtaking terraces, and sacred temples. At the time of your booking, we will secure your entrance ticket based on availability. Since access to Machu Picchu is limited and demand is high, your assigned circuit will depend on the availability at the time of reservation. We recommend booking as early as possible to increase your chances of getting your preferred route (CIRCUIT 2), we suggest 3 months in advance, other way we will offer you the circuit 1 or 3. We booked the private Machu Picchu experience for two, including a private car transfer from Cusco to the train station, the Vistadome train, and a private guided tour of the site. It is certainly a premium-priced experience, but for such a once-in-a-lifetime destination, I would absolutely do it again. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Communication with Tania was excellent throughout the booking process. She was always responsive and helpful, and even came to our hotel the day before to hand over all our tickets, explain the itinerary in detail, and answer all our questions. That personal touch was greatly appreciated. When we arrived at the train station, our guide, Willy, warmly welcomed us and stayed with us throughout the entire visit. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights into the history, culture, and significance of Machu Picchu. His English was excellent, making every explanation easy to understand. He also knew all the best photo spots and helped us capture some unforgettable memories. To top it off, he recommended a very good restaurant (not included in the price) for after our visit, which was the perfect end to the visit while waiting for the return transfer. Be prepared for a long day from Cusco—our day started at 5:00 a.m. and we returned around 8:30 p.m. Most of the time is spent on transportation, transfers, and waiting (each way is around 4 hours: car+train+bus), while the visit to Machu Picchu itself lasts around 2.5 hours (we had booked Circuit 1, which offers the best views although you are not able to enter the village itself (this would be circuit 2). However, every minute is absolutely worth it. A big thank you to Tania and especially to Willy for making this unforgettable experience so smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended!
