The tour guides were very...

The tour guides were very sweet and helpful with good english, but the tour itself wasn’t great. We left an hour later than was initially described. The weather was terrible which is no one’s fault, but there were no clear plans for bad weather once in Macau. We spent less than 4 hours on the tour in macau, with rest of time being the travel to macau. And out of 4 hours, one hour was dedicated to lunch. The price was not worth the money. We were left at the end of the day at one of the casinos and told to find the free shuttle to ferry on our way back . We were told where to go, but ended up wondering for more than an hour trying to find the shuttle since the casino was a huge maze. For how little we got out of this tour it should have been 1/3 of the cost.

Once we got to Macau, we...

Once we got to Macau, we joined a tour group of 48 people. We felt that this was too many people for an enjoyable experience. The guide tried hard but he was hard to understand as he was wearing a mask. Lunch was not enjoyable at all.

Operator response

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the group size and overall experience did not meet your expectations. Group sizes may vary depending on daily demand, and we understand that larger groups can affect comfort and enjoyment. We also regret that the guide’s communication was difficult to follow and that the lunch experience was not satisfactory. Your comments have been noted and will be shared with our operations team to improve both group management and service quality. We appreciate your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to provide a better experience in the future.

Highly recommend his tour

The tour operator was very accommodating and getting me from Hong Kong hotel to the ferry port. The ferry was so comfortable and Kenney was there to meet up with a sign. Even though it was pouring rain, we had umbrellas in Kenni gave us enough time at each station. The lunch was really good and the group was nice to wait a few minutes extra at the end because I was delayed getting to the Meet Up Pl. to leave. I highly recommend the TOUR

Read the fine print carefully when booking.

Kenny, our guide in Macau, was outstanding. Surprised that our small group would be joining a bus full of tourists from another tour company when we arrived in Macau. Especially surprised that our drop-off site was not the same as our pick-up point, leaving us to find our own way back to our hotel in Hong Kong. Had we noticed this in the initial booking, we would have found another tour.

Trip was just OK.

Trip was interesting but having to go through Chinese immigration twice was slow a tiring. The casinos are absolute mob scenes with long lines waiting to get in. The tour picked us up at our hotel but afterwards we were left at the ferry terminal to find our way back to our hotel. Had to stand in line for 45 minutes waiting on a taxi. Our tour guide, Kenny was excellent.

Nice tour to be in another world near Hong Kong

Indispensable experience if you are going on a trip to Hong Kong. Another world. What I missed was a (short) visit to Senado Square... that would have been nice. Large group, but tourguide Grace did well. However, the “tip” of 50 HK dollars is mandatory per person. Grace took it prior to the tour, and it was thus her “for the company” and not for herself. Then the question is why doesn't the company add that 50 dollar directly to the price?

Operator response

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear you found the tour an essential part of your Hong Kong trip and that Grace managed the group well despite its size. Regarding Senado Square, we appreciate your suggestion and will share this with our product team for future itinerary considerations. On the topic of gratuities, we would like to clarify that the HKD 50 per person is a clearly stated operational/service fee collected in advance to support tour logistics and coordination. We understand your concern about transparency and will review how this is communicated to ensure it is clearer to future guests. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again for another experience in the future.

Fun day but will select different tour operator and guide if I do it again

Overall good fun day but few things which can be improve. 1) trip timings (more time at Venetian), 2) better guide - half of the time we were confused what is supposed to be happening 3) u disclosed tip at the end (come on guys - either make this as 100HKD as part of the tour or clearly mention it in the details.

Operator response

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you had an overall fun day, but we’re sorry that several aspects did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your comments regarding timing, guide clarity, and communication about gratuities. Your feedback is valuable and will be reviewed with our operations team to improve scheduling, guide communication, and transparency in tour information. We aim to provide a smooth and clear experience for all guests, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.

Not much Macau history.

According to Trip Advisor this tour was for maximum 15 persons - there were actually 20 and according to the guide, could have been 40. We were picked up, taken to the ferry to Macau, given tickets and told to meet the guide there. This worked well. We found when we got to Macau that we were part of a group of 20. The tour included visits to the ruin of St. Paul’s Church ( a landmark in Macau), the old fort, photo opportunities at the base of the tower & ‘Eiffel tower’ and a couple of temples. In the afternoon most of the time was devoted to a casino. At 4pm we returned to the ship even though this was supposed to be an 11 1/2 hr session. We could have stayed later in Macau but it would have just been additional time at the casino with no guide. We would’ve liked to have seen the old Portuguese town, but it would’ve been on our own since the guide was done after the drop off around 4.30.

Operator response

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that we offer different group tour options, and group sizes may vary depending on daily operations and bookings. The maximum group size listed on some platforms refers to a reference capacity, and final group composition can differ. The Macau itinerary is designed to cover key highlights such as St. Paul’s Ruins, the Old Fortress, and selected temples and viewpoints. Additional time in the afternoon may include casino visits or free time depending on group pace and timing. If guests wish to explore more of the Portuguese heritage area in depth or prefer a more flexible schedule, we do recommend selecting a different themed tour or upgrading to a private tour option for a more personalized experience. We appreciate your comments and will continue to improve clarity in our tour descriptions.

The tour was too short.

The tour duration supposed 9 hours. The route trip ferry took one hour each route. I arrived in Macao around 11am and the trip ended at 4pm. Total the trip was not long enough as advertised. I'm disappointed.

Operator response

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear the experience did not meet your expectations regarding duration. The itinerary includes ferry transfers and scheduled activities in Macau, and timing may vary depending on traffic, immigration, and group pace. We understand your concern and will review the schedule presentation to ensure clearer expectations for future guests. We appreciate your comments and hope to have the opportunity to serve you better next time.
