It was fun and everyone of all ages felt included, valued and happy. And we walked away with delicious treats
A wonderful experience, very informative and helpful. Out chef was friendly, funny, and spoke excellent English.
Chef was very friendly and thoughtful about explaining the process Was an excellent experience Small class
This was a fantastic experience. The teacher Marie was fabulous. Very enthusiastic and detailed. We learned how to make the macarons and she gave us the secrets too!
We really liked this shorter macaron bakery class….it was 1.5 hours vs 3-4 hours for most of the other classes. We learned the process, the secrets to making perfect macarons, and we were able to make our own macarons. Great class!
Instructor was great. You make the filling, but not the cookie part. She demonstrates how to make that part. Only downside. Final product was great
Overall Marie did a fine job. The only thing she should change is to point out, at the very beginning, that we were first going to make the shells and then the fillings. Also, there should be more towels to dry our hands after washing.
I surprised my boyfriend with this macaron making class during our trip to Paris and we had the best time! It was a small group of 9 people which made it really easy to follow along. The instructor was really friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Paris for a unique experience.
I finally got to try my hand at making Macarons. The chef was very engaging, she provided great instructions and was very encouraging to the class. Now while we didn't actually get to make the Macarons shells, as it requires more time than the class would allot for, we did make two types of ganache and filled pre-prepared macarons. We all got to take home four macarons each, 2 chocolate and 2 pistachio. Can't wait to try the recipe at home. Good intro to macarons.
Not a great experience. We got there 10 mins early as suggested, and the whole class was there waiting for the instructor to let us in. She was 10 mins late and didn’t say one word about that or apologize. There was zero “vibe”; no music in the background and it was oddly quiet. The instructor spoke quietly and was difficult to understand at times. And you aren’t actually making macarons. You watch her make the base for the top and bottom, and then you get to stir together the ingredients for the filling and pipe them on pre-baked macarons. It lasted about an hour (said it was 90 mins). We had looked in to another class that was at a French cooking school, and it was more than double the cost so I guess you get what you pay for. I would skip this one unless you just need a 60-90 min low key activity to do.
