Mürren: Paragliding over the Lauterbrunnen Valley
Description
Meet your professional Airtime Pilots in Mürren and hike to the take-off field where you will receive a briefing from your pilot. Then, simply take some running steps and be in the air in front of the mighty Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau mountains... and over the spectacular Lauterbrunnen valley. Soaring high above Mürren, witness the Lauterbrunnen valley open up below, with the sheer cliffs and waterfalls seeming close enough to touch as you glide past them like a bird on a tandem paraglide. Land in Stechelberg, on the valley bottom, next to the Stechelberg Schilthornbahn cable car station - where you can hop on the bus back to Lauterbrunnen or take the lovely waterfall walk back to the village, and walk off some of that adrenaline!

Itinerary
Begin your journey here in Stechelberg (unless you're staying in Mürren already) - park the car and board the new, state-of-the-art cablecar to Mürren. It's the steepest in the world, and will whisk you to Mürren in only 4 minutes!
Meet our team in Mürren, where we will begin the hike to our take off field. (Note that in Winter we require a chairlift to access the take off area.)
We pass by many of the Lauterbrunnen valley's waterfalls during the flight, including the spectacular Mürrenbach.
Depending on the time of year, 72 waterfalls cascade down the sheer cliffs of the Lauterbrunnen valley... you will have a birds eye view!
Our landing field is next to the parking for the Schilthornbahn - this is where we will come in to land and end your flight.

An absolutely brilliant experience for our son‘s 16th birthday present.Nick, his instructor, was absolutely fantastic. He was brilliant with Sebastian and made him totally feel at ease. They were like best mates when they landed. We got awesome video footage and photosfrom the flight as well. This was an experience not to be missed. And this is the company to do it with. If you can get Nick, then you’ve nailed it.

We had the best time paragliding in Switzerland. I could not say better things about this company. There were four of us that jumped. Two adults and two teens. I would do this a hundred more times with Airtime Paragliding if we could!

I took my wife and 13 yr old son for their first Paragliding experience during our 10 vacation. They both said this was the highlight of our vacation. We explored Murren, Interlocken and Lauterbrunnen and our best experience was with AirTime. My pilot, Andreas was very skilled and made my flight experience memorable. Check-in and logictics with Ashley were also very easy. We highly recommend Airtime.

In my opinion this is potentially one of the most amazing experiences you can have. It’s thrilling but not scary. The shear beauty is not something you can describe or that the pictures do justice too. My two teen boys and I loved it so much we booked a 2nd flight the next day. The staff are super friendly and very confident. The takeoff is easy and the landing is easy too. You feel like a bird. It’s comfortable when flying too. You sort of just sit back and relax and take it all in, and it’s a lot to take in. The beauty is dramatic. You must try this. Even little children were going and when they landed right after us they were so happy and talking about how it was the most amazing thing…ever. I agree. I would guess they were about 7 year old and 9 years old. This is a 6 star experience and unforgettable.
