In the morning, we will pick up our travelers, who will enjoy a short and pleasant ride to the Maya Train.
Departure from Teya Station heading to Izamal, the “Yellow Town.” Experience the modern Maya Train and enjoy the unique landscapes of Yucatán along the way.
Walk through its yellow-painted streets, visit the majestic Convent of San Antonio de Padua, and enjoy free time to stroll, shop for handicrafts, or take photos in one of Mexico’s most famous Magical Towns.
Discover one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, explore the Kukulcán Pyramid, and marvel at the history of the Maya civilization at this unique archaeological site.
Enjoy time for a simple buffet featuring traditional Yucatecan dishes, perfect for recharging your energy before the next stop.
To conclude, we will visit the incredible Ik Kil Cenote, where you can relax and cool off after a long day.
Return to the city of Mérida. We will drop you off at the same hotel you selected or at another location in Mérida’s downtown area.

We had an excellent trip and it was totally worth it, being a solo traveller this was a great way to check out a number of locations. Our host was fantastic and incredibly informative. It was a great day—the train ride itself felt like an experience. Visiting Izamal, climbing the pyramid, and touring the convent were all memorable. A swim in the cenote was the perfect midday break, and lunch was delicious. Exploring Chichén Itzá and learning the history made the long day worthwhile. My travel companions were also very friendly and a pleasure to be around.
Our guide, David, and John, our dirver, provided a fantastic and informative day. One of the best and knowledgable guides in our experience - a very personable individual. Not only visits to the histiorical signts, but our Tren Maya trip was a great addition to our tour. Tom and Lana.
