Pierre was extremely knowledgeable and managed the time well showing us important highlights and pointing us in the right direction for further exploration on our own at the conclusion of the tour. Well done! Our group was 4 adults— me and my wife, and another couple— very close friends of ours.
We're glad you had a great experience with Pierre! His knowledge and thoughtful time management clearly made the tour both informative and enjoyable. We’d be happy to welcome you and your friends on another tour in the future!
We enjoyed our tour, but we really feel that for the price, a truly bi-lingual guide is required. Our guide was lovely and informed, but her English was not as understandable as we felt it should be for the quality of tour this was. We also think that a short stop during the tour, for a coffee or short sit, is desirable. Two solid hours of walking and listening on the streets, was a bit much for us. We would have liked to have 15 minutes of it to sit and listen. At the end, our guide walked us to the funicular to the ancient city, but did not let us know that there were 2 different funiculars to it, so we took the wrong one to the top. We thought this was something she might have known as an expert on Lyon. Overall, we would recommend the tour, with some modifications.
