Luxury Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride in Luxor with Hotel Pickup

It was my dream of mine to fly for the 1st time over Luxor in a hot air ballon ride. And it did not disappoint. It was amazing!! The experience, the sunset, the background, the people. We really enjoyed our hot air ballon ride. The company was amazing with us! It had to be rescheduled 2 times, because of bad weather (out of their control, it's the Civil Aviation Autorities that decide the evening before) BUT they were great at communicating the infos and reschedule for the next day. Our last and better option with the weather was the morning we were flying back in Cairo at 9:15am, but they did everything they could to make sure we were in the 1st basket and back at our hotel to get to the airport on time. They confirm the flight around 8pm if yes or no it was going to happend, and time pick-up time, for us 4h30. They were on time in the morning, go us in the first basket. We were about 24 in, 3 per compartment. We had enough room to be comfortable and see everything. The flight was smooth and the pilot made a couple of slow 360° so everyone could see the view all around. The landing was smooth and nice. It felt super safe and we really enjoyed it. Outstanding experience. Super fast and smooth transfer, VIP assistance from start to finish, and absolutely no pushy staff. I was guided straight to the balloon and got one of the best positions in the basket — perfect views for photos. The flight was calm, safe, and incredibly beautiful. Magic moment frozen in the air of Luxor. The team and the driver were really on top! We LOVED it! You can go there with your eyes closed it is a must if you stay in Luxor, you really will not regret it. It was great, exceptional.

Once in a lifetime experience! We had the best time - it was extremely special. We were very lucky that the weather was on our side, as there had been cancellations for about 2 weeks. There was a moment where all the balloon staff got the all clear from flight control to get in the air, and the place erupted with cheers, excitement and the sound of the huge fans inflating the balloons. This moment will last with us forever! The views were insane, of the Nile, the Valley of the Kings and Queens, the desert, and of course all of the balloons in the air. I highly recommend this - I just hope the weather is as good for you as it was for us.

It was a great hot air balloon experience.

Exhausting but worth it! We were picked up from the Hotel Makadi Spa on time. However, the time was already 11:30 am as the balloon would leave at 05:30 am. Due to the longer route and many military checkpoints, it still takes time. Despite 0 hours sleep, the tour was very good. The balloon ride is really the highlight but also the tombs and temples were very worth seeing. We felt in good hands and both the driver and the tour guide were very nice and serious.

Very well organized program. Everyone was nice and helpful. The captain was very funny and professional, he joked throughout the trip, told interesting information, we circled the hot air balloon several times so that everyone had a good view.
