Paid in full and received confirmation, then the night before they emailed and said it was already full so we were being canceled but I had to request a refund to get my money back. By the time they canceled on us, there were no other classes available to book so we missed out on getting a cooking class experience during our trip. If they would have canceled due to an emergency or something that’s understandable, but this was simply because they were already full and didn’t update the website when they should have; no apology or credit given for the inconvenience. I would definitely not recommend booking with them when there are so many other options.
hello thanks for your review. Unfortunately if you book the night before it is not always easy to organize a cooking class. I am sure you understand. Thanks for your grim effort to downgrade this experience.
Loved every second of the cooking class. We started out in the herb garden and then moved inside to make lots of amazing dishes. There were six others in our class. We became instant friends. Chef Luigi is the best! Very entertaining and so talented. The kitchen was extremely clean and the staff were wonderful. Definitely recommend!
Chef Luigi is awesome. He is so skilled in the kitchen and the techniques were impressive. Lunch was awesome and wine was plentiful.
The tour operator told us to meet in Bellagio port but no one came to get us. When called the tour operator said he was no longer licensed to drive us to the restaurant. Chef Luigi went out of his way to come pick us up in his van. We had to wait two hours until the end of his lunch service at the restaurant for him to be able to drive us back which was very kind of him since there was a taxi strike. The class was interesting. But not very informative as I do not know what went into the ingredients and how long things were cooked for. If you want a fun experience and are ok with a long lunch, I recommended the class.
Enjoyed the cooking class with wife and daughter. Chef went above and beyond as teacher, entertainer, chef, sommelier and driver.
We had an amazing cooking class with Chef Luigi. He is an excellent teacher, funny personality, and we made delicious food which we had for lunch.

There are times when you just have to take a chance! My wife and I had the honor of traveling to Lake Como for our friends wedding in April. The groom is a great cook and as this was a destination wedding we decided to treat the soon-to-be newlyweds to a cooking class.
It was a day none of us will ever forget! After researching various options we came across this yet to be discovered gem. There was not a single review on it, but somehow it felt right!
Federico contacted us before we had arrived in Italy to find out more about us, what we liked, why we were in Italy, where we were staying, all to make our transition and connection easy and enjoyable. Right down to Ferry times and routes.
He met us at the Ferry dock where we had a short walk 15 minutes I'm guessing, through the charming town of Lenno up to his families Villa Casanova. This place was amazing! The picture just doesn't do it justice! I could go with every little fantastic detail but I won't!
Suffice it it to say, Federico and the amazing chefs of Liccumi'a treated us like royalty while teaching us to prepare some amazing traditional Italian dishes in the comfort of his families Villa! It just couldn't be any better experience than this! Don't miss it!
We will definitely return and do this again! Federico was more than a guide and host, he is a friend as are the, as my wife would say, easy on the eyes Chefs of Liccumi'a!
Grazie Mille Federico!!!
