Cap Spartel is a scenic promontory in Morocco, rising about 1,000 feet (300 m) above sea level at the entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar, around 12 km west of Tangier. It is considered the northwesternmost point of the African continent. Below the cape, you’ll find the famous Caves of Hercules.
