We had such a lovely experience on this last minute trip! Everything was well organised from start to finish the driver arrived right on time and made the journey to the museum. His car was clean and fresh no smell off smoke and not dusty and no loud music! When we arrived, we met our guide Omran, who was fantastic. As I was visiting with my son, I asked if he could keep things simple and focus on the most important parts, and he did exactly that. His English was clear, and he was very kind, relaxed, and easy to follow. We also appreciated having some free time to explore the shops and enjoy the café, which made the visit feel nice and unhurried. It turned into a really enjoyable afternoon for both of us. Highly recommended!
Nice, small but clear. Very valuable pieces and a well-preserved mummy. Visited before lunch and comfortable, on the Nile promenade, close to cruises.
The museum is not very big, but it houses beautiful pieces and mummies, you have to count 7 euros per person for entry and 1h30 visit

I took this Tour with Shimo. Shimo was on time. Super professional. A little Encyclopedia, with a wealth of information, dates, curiosities and little details that only a good guide can give you. I loved Shimo's tempo on how he guided me on the Tour. Not too fast, not too slow. Precise. Clear English, and lots of spelling on the difficult names of the Gods, Kings and Faraohs, which was awesome. Shimo understands that a good guide starts when you get into the car, and finishes at the end , when you get out of the car. So, he gave me a complete overview on the sites we visited, what to expect, highlights, etc. I strongly recommend this Tour, and I strongly recommend Shimo as a FIVE Star super good guide for it. Actually, do better: get him for a Day Tour and include Luxor and Mummification Museums and Luxor Temple on it with him, as I did. You are gonna Love It !!!!!!

Small museum to visit in 1h-2h max. Well presented, the exhibits trace several periods of the Pharaohs. Two interesting mummies. Few people, no tail.

Thank you sir
The Luxor Museum is a fantastic museum. It is well laid out, very clean and modern and has descriptions of everything in English. GO TO THIS MUSEUM, just not on a tour. The tour guide is not allowed to go in with you anyway. The Mummification Museum was a waist of time. It was one room with a bunch of stuff that looked like leftovers from other museums. No cool displays of the mummification process, just a bunch of glass cases with old rags and natron (mummification salts) in them.
Thank you sir we appreciate your review
Interesting information about mummification process and lots of items to watch. It's open in the morning, closes at two and opens again at 5pm.
Thanks for your review
