start by visiting the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the New Kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies. Your tour guide will explain everything from outside as no guiding inside the tombs, then explore the best 3 selected tombs from the open ones.
Proceed to visit the Mortuary temple to the famous queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. Learn more about her interesting story from your Egyptology guide and know how she managed to rule the country for 22 years as a sole Pharaoh.
End your tour in the West Bank by a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon. Then, enjoy lunch in a local restaurant (beverages are not included).
Back to the East Bank to see the greatest example of a site of worship in history and the largest temple all over the world; Karnak Temple built through 2000 years, covering an area of about 63 acres. Listen carefully to the stories and legends to be told by your tour guide. Marvel at the sheer size of the Great Hypo-style Hall, take photos between the huge columns and obelisks.
In your way to Luxor Temple, stop to see the avenue of sphinxes, once linked the two temples together for the ancient Egyptians New Year Festival. Then, to Luxor Temple, which is among the most beautiful temples in Egypt, and was built by king Amonhotep III from the 18th. dynasty and completed by the great king Ramesses II during the 19th dynasty, where ancient Egyptian, Christian and Islamic features are exhibited. Admire its obelisk and well preserved statues.
Drive down to the Nile, board your boat and relax, enjoy the scenery of the Nile views all the way, watch the real Egyptian life, pass by the farmer’s fields with the sugar cane as a major crop in Luxor. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Heba was beyond helpful in rearranging our tour last minute when we couldn’t get transport to Luxor in time. We had originally planned to do a private full day tour starting in Luxor but Heba kindly split it over two days for us for no extra charge. Our driver, Amr, picked us up from the bus stop in Luxor and from that moment we were taken care of. Hatem, our guide, was excellent. It was nice to have all the stress of navigating our way around taken out of our hands. The temples and valley of the kings were incredible. Our personal highlight was the sailing boat trip on the Nile watching the sun set - stunning.
