At 7:00 am Pickup from your Hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor by Licensed Tour guide then you will be transferred by Private A/C Vehicle to Abydos city Drive north from Luxor at the end of the Tour around 17:00 pm transfer back to the hotel in Luxor .

First, visit Abydos Temple. Temple of Hathor at Dendara may be the best preserved in Egypt with full color still visible on its walls Temple around 135 km from Luxor , the ancient Egyptian believed of god (Lord of the underworld) to be buried there. The temple was built by King Seti I, and completed by King Ramsess II, known as temple of Seti I.
It is located in Abydos city about 420 km to the south of Cairo in Sohag Government, and 135 km from Luxor . The paintings of the Gods and Pharaohs on the walls of the Osiris Temple at Abydos are among the most beautifully preserved in Egypt.
The temple of Seti I also known as the Great Temple of Abydos is one of the main historical sites in Abydos. The temple was built by pharaoh Seti I. At the rear of the temple there is the Osireion. The temple is also notable for the Abydos graffiti, ancient Phoenician and Aramaic graffiti found on the temple walls.
Then continue to Dendara to visit the Temple of Hathor, goddess of love and joy. The temple is located in Dendara which is situated at the north of Luxor at the end of the Tour around 17:00 pm transfer back to the hotel in Luxor .

We had a wonderful day with our guide Salwa. The day tour was excellent—well organized, informative, and really enjoyable. Luxor is absolutely worth visiting, with incredible history and impressive sights. Highly recommended!
It was a great trip, great service and a patient and good driver. Got to Dendera at 7am when they opened, was quiet. Then got to Abydos abiut an hour after leaving Dendera, which was also quiet. Got to observe The Osidion too.
It was a very beautiful day tour!! Our guide, Selwa knew everything, she answered a lot of questions we had during our last days. We liked everything but Karnak was overwhelming beautiful!!! So nice! This is really a must-do!!!!
It was fabulous, they are amazing places, a little remote that makes them even more special, Dendera beautiful and Abydos super interesting, our guide Khaled very nice and elegant, all in white, is smart, very good Spanish, answered our doubts and took us without hurry through these fantastic places, then to the delicious lunch near the temple-tomb of Osiris, the Osiririon, an extraordinary place. The driver worked his magic to get around all the obstacles of the rough roads in Egyptian rurality which is also very interesting and beautiful. Very comfortable car where we could rest on the long drives with excellent Egyptian music!! Great visit!! Worth every penny!!! Thank you Khaled!!!

Very professional and recommendable company. Having an expert in egypt story is very useful to understand what you see and the transportation and handling is exceptional. Prices are also competitive and affordable.
Salwa Fathy was our tour guide and I was impressed with her knowledge of history and deep knowledge of each of the temples. Her energy while she was fasting was beyond impressive given the rest of us were struggling with the heat!: I would highly encourage any body wondering who to go with to book with this group ans request Salwa. She accommodated all of our preference from shopping to sign seeing and made accommodations for each of us!

We really enjoyed this day trip to two spectacular Ancient Egyptian sites. Our tour guide Ahmed was friendly and knowledgable not only on the sites we were visiting but of Egyptian history in general. It is quite a drive from Luxor however definitely worth doing to see the temples of Seti I and Dendera. I would definitely recommend this tour and if you are looking for more in depth knowledge of Ancient Egypt ask for Ahmed.
