The WW II museum and American cemetery were interesting. Since my uncle had been injured in the Battle of the Bulge, I was expecting more detailed information and location points for the battle. A good portion of the 5 hour tour was driving listening to music. Serge was very friendly, but didn’t seem to know a lot of details about the battle area. The web description of the tour was not real accurate. It was not worth the cost.
Thank you for taking the time, Stephen. I'm glad the museum and the American Cemetery resonated with you, and I'm sorry the day didn't meet what you'd hoped for given your uncle's history. The published itinerary centres on the two cemeteries, the Patton museum and the Battle of the Bulge museum rather than walking the engagement lines themselves — Clervaux and the northern sites sit a fair distance from the city, which is why the day involves some driving between stops. I'd normally use those transfers to give background and context, and I'm sorry if that fell flat on the day. If a visitor tells me in advance that they want a deeper, battle-specific focus, I'm glad to weight the day that way. My best wishes to you and your family.
Tour experience was most enjoyable! Serge is professional, knowledgeable and friendly and I would highly recommend his services for tours and private driver needs. WWll & Castle Fun and very memorable!

Thank you as well for your trust and great company throughout the day — I truly appreciate the recommendation. Wishing you many more great travels ahead, and hopefully see you again in Luxembourg someday!
Excellent tour of WWII sites, museums and memorials. Serge explained the Battle of the Bulge with a lot of detail, which we appreciated. He is a great tour guide and shared what is like to live in Luxembourg. He took us to several extra sites as a bonus. Highly recommend, one of our most memorable excursions.
Thank you for your thoughtful review. I’m glad you appreciated the depth of the WWII context and the additional stops along the way. Understanding the Battle of the Bulge on location makes the history far more tangible. It was a pleasure guiding you — I’m honored it became one of your most memorable excursions.
If you are interested in WWII this is a wonderful tour. You get a real sense of what took place and the impact on the local residents. You also discover how grateful the people of Luxembourg are to the Americans for their freedom. I personally found the day very emotional. We appreciated Sergey’s knowledge and his willingness to adjust the itinerary to what was important to us. Highly recommend!
Thank you for sharing this. WWII history in Luxembourg is deeply personal for many families, and I’m glad the experience felt meaningful and authentic to you. Adjusting the day to what matters most to guests is always part of the approach. I truly appreciate your recommendation.
I’m a big fan of World War II history, but I honestly had no idea Luxembourg had so much to offer! From General Patton’s grave to the incredible museum in Ettelbruck and the castles that witnessed the Battle of the Bulge — every stop was powerful and beautifully explained. The guide clearly knows his history and adds personal stories that make it come alive. I left feeling deeply moved and grateful this small country preserves such an important part of our shared past.
