Meet your host at the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel and enjoy reserved access to the Louvre Museum, the world’s largest museum with more than 9,000 years of history. Your host will escort you directly inside and guide you through an orientation route covering the must-sees: Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, the medieval foundations of the palace, the Venus de Milo and the Caryatids, the Etruscan collections, Pharaonic Egypt with the Seated Scribe and a mummy, the dazzling Apollo Gallery and its royal jewels, French masterpieces such as Liberty Leading the People, the decorative arts of the kings and Napoleon III’s apartments, as well as the Richelieu Wing and its grand French sculptures. Eiffel Tower With your reserved access, take a lift to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower, the 324-metre high historic monument built by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 Paris World Fair. Admire the magnificent 360° view over the city and explore this unmissable monument at your leisure. Seine Cruise At the foot of the Eiffel Tower, board a one-hour cruise on the Seine with an audio guide. Marvel at the fantastic architecture of the heart of Paris' most prestigious monuments along the banks of the Seine.
If you select the “Eiffel Tower & Sightseeing Cruise” option, you will receive all the details of your experience during your Louvre check-in (please arrive at least 20 minutes early!). Please note that you will need to make your own way to the Eiffel Tower. Your ticket includes access via elevator to the 2nd floor of the iconic “Iron Lady.” A downloadable audio guide will be provided—don’t forget your headphones and make sure your phone is fully charged! Afterward, enjoy a relaxing one-hour sightseeing cruise along the Seine River, taking in some of Paris’s most beautiful landmarks from the water.

This is the meeting point of the tour. The Arc du Carrousel is a small triumphal arch located just west of the Louvre, at the entrance to the Tuileries Garden. Built by Napoleon Bonaparte to celebrate his military victories, it features marble columns, detailed sculptures, and a chariot with four horses on top. Today, it’s a charming landmark and a perfect spot to enjoy views of the Louvre, the Tuileries, and the historic Parisian axis.
You will admire the Musée d'Orsay from the Seine River if you select the option. The Musée d'Orsay is a world-famous museum housed in a former railway station on the banks of the Seine. It features an exceptional collection of 19th- and early 20th-century art, including masterpieces by Monet, Van Gogh, Degas, and Renoir. The building itself, with its grand clock and Beaux-Arts architecture, is as impressive as the artworks inside.
If option selected, admire this monument from the Seine River Notre-Dame Cathedral remains one of Paris’s most famous Gothic monuments. Admire its towers, flying buttresses, and rose windows from the river, imagining its centuries of history.

If option selected, admire this monument from the Seine River. From the river, you can glimpse the Place de la Concorde, a historic square famous for its obelisk, fountains, and views of the Champs-Élysées. It’s a central point connecting many of Paris’s grand boulevards.
If option selected you will admire this monument from the Seine river cruise. The Hôtel de Ville is Paris’s city hall, a magnificent Renaissance-style building. Its façade and towers are especially impressive when seen from the Seine, with the river reflecting its architectural details.

- The Louvre Museum closes at 9:45 PM on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Our fast entry to the Louvre tour started out okay guide was there to meet everyone gave us vop boxes and era buds, and entry was quick. However, the guide moved very quickly and did not take into account that some people move slower and have trouble with stairs. She also tended to skip over things that she seemed to have no interest in. At one stage she told me that she knew exactly where everyone was, except 5 minutes later I lost where the group had move to as one minute I could hear her on the vop (was still in the same room looking at the other paintings, when she moved so quickly in the other direction I could no longer hear her, had to send a what's app message to my husband to find where they had gone. She spent so much time on just a few painting that some people were getting bored as not everyone wants to know who this person is and that person is related to this person in the paintings. Was rude to my husband when he asked how much longer the tour went as we were already over time, and it was very hot in there. We had other things planned so had to be places. Said that people wanted to know about the detail in the painting that's why we were late. She also had to move away from one guide, as they were talking to fast and stealing her energy, and being away would let the earth recharge her to continue the tour. Enjoyed the museum but not the tour.

We had difficulty getting the tickets and they refused to let us in at the Louvre. We tried to contact Viator by phone but very hard to get through to customer service. Very disappointing experience. The guide didn't show up. I was at the designated location 30 minutes before. Refusing to take responsibility for missing it, saying I should have called them up before and verified that the rally point matched it in the app when they had moved it ..

We had Chris who was so knowledgeable about the vast collections, asked if we had preferences to see, had a sense of humor, how societies at the time influenced the painter or sculptor or where the society existed in the time of its history relative to their societies. He knew bits about the artists and allowed us a respite sit while he spoke of what we were going to see or had just seen. Excellent!!We felt we were so well served by Chris. Thank you
